The Ridge - Elkhorn condo

This condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the golfers. Short trip into Ketchum and free bus service is offered.

Unacceptable

While the unit was clean and updated, the owner has chosen to force their renters to use their own apps for tv. When the internet doesn't work, you have no tv. The cable tv provides no programming at all, no news, no programs, just product advertising. Shame on the owners. We have never seen this in all of our many vrbo stays. We asked MVP about their tv situation on this unit prior to renting it. They never responded. Don't stay here - you will not like it.

This review does not best represent the property or situation we experienced while hosting Karen. We list the property tv instructions clearly step by step for easy guest use in our guest information notebook and also clear instructions framed on the TV Console itself. The home is outfitted with smart tv's and also a main living room tv that has the option to view basic cable and also choose to stream your apps for your viewing preference. Karen let us know the day before check out she was having difficulty operating the tv in which we responded and let her know we could come out to help her or FaceTime her to assist her remotely. We did not hear anything back until the following afternoon as she was checking out. We try our best to keep our instructions for the home clear and easy to maneuver but it seems this is just a case of user error. Its unfortunate to leave a one star in this situation as the home is lovely and we exhausted all resources in our ability to assist Karen.
