Home is beautiful, views are even better! Very quiet and peaceful. Visited a couple of wildlife refuge’s and took a drive down Matagorda beach not too far away(40 minutes or so). Will definitely stay again.

Our stay was amazing! The location of the house is steps from the quiet and beautiful beach. From the balcony you can see miles of beach. We have already recommended the property to a few of our friends and family members.

Wonderful Rental

This is a beautiful property that has a wonderful view of the beach. The beach was easy to walk to. Hopefully we will be returning.

Great location

We love the location of this house. The wrap around porch allows for beautiful views. The 4 stars were only given because the mattresses were very uncomfortable, otherwise it was a great time.

The property was wonderful. Very clean. Kitchen was well outfitted. Really nice bathrooms. Carla Rae is awesome as the host. Would definitely rent again!!!!!

Great home, the girls kept saying they wished we lived there. I just missed having a washer and dryer available, to get a headstart on laundry.

Thanksgiving getaway

This was our second time staying at this property and won’t be our last. We love the location and the house is always very clean and nice. Carla is great to communicate with and she left us some very good cookies. I highly recommend this property

One word - Serene

Total peace sitting on the back covered deck with the waves and breeze - nothing like it. All you hear are birds and waves, the canal in the front and ocean in the back - perfect getaway!

Absolutely perfect home. The home is large, beautifully decorated, large rooms and huge master bath and shower. We loved lounging on the wrap around deck watching the sunrise, then heading out to play with the dogs on the beach.

Great property!

This house was just as advertised. The weather was unfortunately not great so we cdnt enjoy the deck or beach much. But the house was very nice.

Beach Front Beauty/No mosquitos!!

Our stay here was pretty awesome! Loved the privacy and the sound of the ocean and being that close to the beach! Not a huge beach but once the tide was low it was great for the kids. Enjoyed our first ever salt water fishing and caught a lot of fish! Had a full moon on our anniversary and the light on the ocean all night was amazing! No idea what they sprayed but I don't think anyone in my family saw one mosquito our entire 4 day trip, which was amazing on the Texas coast for once! Place was very clean and nice and would definitely love to bring the family back!

Unexpected Surprise

I had never been to the area and rented the property based on the pictures which make the house look relatively private. Imagine my surprise to arrive and find an RV park right next door! I was a little off put by that because it was so close and just hoped it would be quiet. Well, everything exceeded my expectations; the house was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, the porch was glorious, and it was blissfully quiet with nothing but the sound of the waves. I didn't want to leave and can't wait to visit again!!!
