This is a new home build in late 2020 contemporary river home, river front with hot tub, firepit with plenty of wood and your own private dock great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, boating and more. Wake up to amazing views every morning. This home garage area is not part of rental. Very quiet property with no close neighbors on almost 2 acers with large front and backyard areas. This property comes with 2 kayaks and one canoe life jackets and paddles! Pets are allowed 2 pet max $100 per pet.

The home is beautiful with a perfect location right on the river. Communication was seamless with the host. Check-in check out was a breeze in any questions I have or answered most immediately. Will definitely return for another stay here. My dog absolutely loved the extremely spacious backyard.

We enjoyed our week long stay at this gorgeous property. Gary is an attentive host and the property exceeded our expectations. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable. This was a great home base for exploring Shenandoah National Park, Luray, and Charlottesville!

Landlord was very helpful. House waa super clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Fully equipped with all the essentials, canoes, and kayaks available, made an enjoyable trip up the Shenandoah river.

Beautiful spot right on the river. Very clean and modern. Never did use the hot tub or the kayaks/canoe but they were nice to have and in good working order. I will say that the concrete ramp from the bank to dock probably would be a little difficult for some to handle. We had no problems on our end so just food for thought. Gary was a great host and extremely responsive and we would definitely stay here again.!

Would highly recommend this rental because it’s everything peaceful and beautiful. Beautiful weekend and beautiful property. The house and property was immaculate. Hot tub was at a perfect temperature.

The property was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. There was a lot of rain while we were there, so we stayed inside more than planned but the comfortable space made that a lot easier. Despite the rain, we used the hot tub, fire pit, and dock to do some fishing. We'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful home! Very clean and supplied with all a home needs! We didn’t use the hot tub but I’m sure it’s just as nice as everything else! A very quiet and peaceful atmosphere if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life! Gary responded to our questions in a very reasonable amount of time. Definite 5 star from all of us!

This home was a great place to stay while exploring the Shenandoah Valley and showing JMU to our kids. We loved relaxing on the porch, using the canoe and hot tub, and the fire pit at night. The home is super clean and well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. We appreciated the kid/dog gates so our pup could enjoy the porch.

The house was just as described, clean and easy to stay at. Honestly the pictures did not do justice to how enjoyable it was sitting on the front porch looking at the setting sun over the Shenandoah after a long day of hiking with the family. Gary was extremely easy to deal with and very responsive to any questions.

Relaxing stay

We had a relaxing stay. The river was too high and cold for swimming/floating, but nice to look at. We enjoyed the proximity to Shenandoah National Park for hikes.
