Lovely house with lots of room. Great hot tub and game room. Nice deck and views. Checking in was as easy as entering a code. Everything was labeled and easy to navigate. And we got to spend lots of time hanging out with a beautiful fox that was curious about us and stayed around for two days. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone going to Snowmass with a family or friends. The only thing that could use updating is the living room stereo system, which is a CD player and speakers probably from about 1990! (I was able to hook my computer up to it and play Spotify, though.)

Incredible view! The snow wasn’t great this year, so we couldn’t fully utilize the ski in ski out feature, but with better snow, it would be an awesome perk. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely book again.

It was a strange year for sure! Definitely not the norn but the house is unique and amazing, skiing or not and there is so much to do in the Snowmass/Aspen area year round! Glad you enjoyed the home and hope you can visit again and try out the ski in/out trail!

My group loved the location of the house and its beautiful Mountain views. The hostess was very responsive and amenable to making our stay great.

Thank you! This is a unique house (hard to describe) that families of all ages and sizes can enjoy. The hot tub and sledding are a bonus in the winter. So glad you enjoyed the home. Come back and visit Aspen/Snowmass again!

End of Ski Season Family Gathering

Oakley House was wonderful! Amazing location and very comfortable, family centric home! Very good value for “on the mountain rental” in a quiet location with lots of space. Susan the owner was a great host and very responsive to our questions and inquires before and during our stay.

Thank you for your comment. During heavy snow years, and this has definitely been a heavy snow year, ski out can be challenging, so this is a good reminder for beginner skiers. There are optional routes for skiing out. Skiing in is fine for skiers of all levels. Glad you enjoyed the house!

Our family loved every single thing about the Oakley property!! It is beautiful, in an ideal location, the owners thought of everything we could possibly need, communication was outstanding, the setting was magnificent, and our family loved being together there! I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. We hope to go back again soon!!

Beautiful mountain family home

It was wonderful to stay in the Oakley home with another family. Each family had their own area of the house so there was privacy, while sharing the huge common areas for meals and games. Being "on" the mountain made us feel like real superstars and the trip in and out was a fun adventure. We would love to visit again!

Fabulous family ski home

An extremely comfortable large family home with exceptional views over the Snowmass Ski area from a voluminous living area. Well equipped with every thing needed to have a very comfortable stay. Very good contact with owners. Highly recommended

Not really a Ski-in/Ski-out...have to walk down or uphill 2/10 mile...rough after a hard day of skiing. The hists were extremely responsive and communicated quickly to our needs and inquiries. The 6th bedroom is really the game room, so not really a bedroom. The ski racks in the garage and the mudroom for gear was nice. All in all, we had a great time with limited snow coverage!

We had a challenging snow year early but that has changed with great snowfall lately and we are on track for a good ski year! The trail, as noted on the website, can be difficult during the early and late season with limited snow. So glad you enjoyed the house. Wonderful home!

The Oakley residence is a wonderful place to spend time with family. You can feel the love the family has put into the place. It is not an immaculate, modern home. Rather, it is almost a time capsule… very vintage and very comfy! It feels like home.

This home is comfortable and family friendly. The large photos taken by a family member brings a touch of the Southwest to Aspen in a unique way. The original design and use of space definitely make this home "one of a kind " and capture the majestic views all around!

Magnificent Views ; Spacious Accommodation

This property has everything. It is ski in / ski out with beautiful views. It is well equipped in the kitchen and throughout the house. The floor plan of multiple levels and the individual room sizes afford privacy and plenty of common spaces for family enjoyment. Our experience exceeded our expectations. The owners might consider upgrading the pictures online.

Great for the whole extended family

We had 3 generations stay here, ages 1 to 76, and it was perfect. Everyone could have their own space and there was plenty of room to hang out after the kids went to bed. The pictures really do not do the home justice. The Great Room is truly great with amazing views of the mountain. The outdoor patio was great for morning coffee and a sunset happy hour! The property manager was very responsive as well. Five stars, will definitely return!

Beautiful huge home!

LOVED this house! It’s HUGE! It has everything you would need :-) It is 2 miles from the base at Snowmass and the road is straight UP! If you are coming to mountain bike, know that you cannot ride your bike to and from the bike park lift as it’s a tremendous climb coming back :-) You can eat out on the deck, which is so beautiful! BBQ grill and jacuzzi work great and so enjoyed!

Snowmass is beautiful in the summer and the year round! The views from the deck, while grilling and in the jacuzzi are incredible. The house is huge but cozy on each level. Good to know the mountain bike information, but I just found out that there are ways around and maps to guide mountain bike riders so they don't have to climb the steep hill. Come back again!

Million dollar view!!! perfect location!!

One of the most memorable vacations with our family and friends. Plenty of space for 11 people very very comfortably. Teenage boys stayed downstairs and were as loud as they wanted to be and couldn’t be heard where adults were. The view of the slopes and mountain was worth more than a million!! Hot tub after skiing was awesome. The house is outdated but the house, location, and memories……..after soooo much fun, didn’t think about it again. Great trip!!!

This is a large, comfortable and unique home with a private feeling on each level. The views are truly incredible and it is the perfect home for families and large groups. We have been in the process of updating including new blinds throughout the house. Over the years there have been many returning guests and many special memories. So glad this was a memorable vacation. Come back and visit again!

Family trip

The home was beautiful,spacious and clean with a spectacular view of Snowmass mountain. However, when I booked I needed 6 bedrooms in which the house stated. It appeared by the photos there were 3 rooms with queen beds which there are only 2 which led to a guest sleeping in the game room which is what was considered a bedroom. It worked out fine but technically there are only 5 bedrooms and a family game area that can sleep many but on futons. Overall we had a fantastic experience And wonderful stay!!!! Highly recommend this home for family vacations

Wonderful spot!

This house is amazing! I went with 5 other friends for an annual guy's ski trip and it accommodated our group perfectly. The views of the slopes are incredible! We loved waking up to them every morning with the sunrise, it was the perfect motivation! We especially enjoyed the vintage bar in the basement playroom when we returned from dinner each night. The decor and art/photography was also a highlight for us, you can tell the house is well loved by its owners. The house is immaculate and comfortable. Also, Sue was an amazing host. She was always super responsive and accommodating. We are hoping to return next year!

Perfection!

Our large running team enjoyed this home after a grueling 200 mile race. The home was absolutely perfect!!! We were able to all relax, enjoy the fresh air, rest our muscles in the hot tub. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat. The property manager was an absolute joy to work with. She was kind, attentive, and accommodating. This home is beautiful, even more so than shown in the photos. Impossible to say enough how wonderful this home was! Thank you!!

Thank you.This is so true! This home is relaxing with gorgeous views and can accommodate groups of all sizes! Many running groups have enjoyed this home over the years and appreciate the beautiful hot tub (nestled at the edge of the mountain with the view of the ski runs) at the end of a long day. Spacious house in a great location

We had 3 families with 11 adults total and never felt crowded. Full kitchen. Internet worked well. Hot tub was great. Clean beds and baths and good shower water pressure. Easy access to the slope, village, and grocery store. Had to call the property manager to get a few things and they were delivered the next day. Make sure you communicate with the property manager to get the latest access code as we had an old code when we first arrived at the house. Overall we had a great trip and definitely would stay again.

The home is located near the top of the road surrounded by majestic mountains! Someone from our property management team is always available to drop off supplies and answer any questions! Summer in Snowmass

We had an amazing week! Four adults and three teens (17/18/19) enjoyed all the mountain had to offer. The property was beautiful and we could not get enough of the sunset views from the deck. The house is well stocked with kitchen essentials and well-loved games to play on a rainy day. The boys enjoyed the bumper pool and poker table! My only suggestion would be to put a television in the family room. We really wanted to watch the morning Wimbledon matches, but not in the basement. There is a small tv in the kitchen, but it would be nice to have viewing options in the common area to hang out together or chill at night and watch a movie. Overall, beautiful property and great vacation.

Summer in Snowmass is incredible! The sunsets and sunrises are beautiful and there is so much to do in the area! This home is perfect for groups of all ages and sizes, and there is privacy on each level. We keep the house well stocked with supplies and plenty of games and activities for "rainy days." Many people (including the owners) prefer to talk in the living room area and get away from the television, however the lower level entertainment level has plenty of seating and a large tv and there are tvs in the master and upper queen bedrooms. A larger tv is planned for the kitchen/dining room open area. Come back and visit again!
