I visited Providence with my family for a quick 3 day adventure. We decided to try Vrbo instead of a hotel.
There were some good and bad things about our stay.
The good:
Plenty of space, mostly clean, washer and dryer available, nice neighborhood, easy parking, and within walking distance to restaurants.
The bad:
Overwhelming fragrance, cheap & uncomfortable furniture/bedding, smoke detector chirped the whole time(tried contacting the property manager and was ignored), some places like under the beds and the blinds were filthy, unusable kitchen stools (would not support the weight of even a small child), & very bright day and night (no way block light).
Overall, my biggest disappointment would be the lack of effort by the property manager to replace the battery in the smoke detector. Hearing a chirp every 30 seconds made it really hard to get a restful sleep.
