Everything was great! Only thing I can say is just having some quarts of wood by the property to grab more firewood if needed.

This was my second stay, and it was as much fun as the first! The house has an amazing view from the large porch, and the beds are so comfortable!

We had such a great stay! This place was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It would be perfect whether you’re traveling with family or enjoying a girls’ trip. The space was welcoming, clean, and made for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful trip to MO. We enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and peaceful. Kids enjoyed some catch and release in the pond. We gazed at the stars. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and porch. And I enjoyed the well appointed coffee bar. We had everything we needed and then some (surprise chocolate chip cookies OMG delicious! We all ate way too many.). I appreciated the kid friendly kitchen items. Christie and her husband were a delight and even helped me navigate an issue we ran into with our car. Definitely recommend

Hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed! The layout was perfect and just the right size. The property is gorgeous and very peaceful.

The Chateau was everything the description promised! The place is very cared for, & clean. A bit of charming rustic ambiance, meets every modern convenience necessary! Some extra surprises too,The coffee bar is exceptional, comfy furniture & beds, user friendly outdoor perks likegrill, porch swing & fireplaces!Peaceful walks around the property & pond to feed fish & soothing view from porches & out the numerous windows.Attention to details like all utensils & appliances needed, & appealing seasonal touches. Yes! We would stay here again!

The house is an amazing place with a peaceful patio and wonderful backyard view. We spent every morning and evening enjoying the sounds and sights of nature and star gazing at night. The beds are so comfortable! The decor is amazing!! Thank you for a wonderful place to get away for a weekend!

My wife and I stayed at The Hidden Gem in 2024, and after we left we couldn't get this beautiful house out of our thoughts. So, two years later, when planning another trip to St. Louis, we knew we had to stay at The Hidden Gen again. The house is so comfortable, with everything one would need to feel at home. But, for us, the highlight is the outdoor space. We loved sitting on the patio every morning drinking coffee, watching the sun come up over the trees and lighting up the pond, while listening to the birds wake up and start singing.And the outdoor fireplace is a perfect place to end the evening while watching the fire slowly burn away while watching the stars appear overhead one by one.Now that we have stayed here twice, we are already talking about when we will go back for a third visit.Thank you Christie for sharing your beautiful property!

This place was amazing. Everything was better than advertised. The porch, firepit, grill veiw and house were great. We went floating at Blue Spring Ranch which is just couple minutes down the road. I believe me and the wife spent most of our time in the porch swing. Only suggestion I would make is if you like sleeping with a fan on you as I do. Maybe bring one for the mater bed room. All the other rooms had ceiling fans. Thats just my personal preference though. The wife was happy I didnt have one freezing here out lol.

If I could leave 10 stars, I would!! This place is truly a safe haven and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The real hidden gem is the host! Miss Christie and Mr Tracey are incredible people with huge hearts! They were there for us in every way and welcomed us as family when we needed it. If you stay anywhere in all of Missouri, choose this beautiful little cottage. It’s truly a home away from home!
