We really enjoyed our stay at Susan's home. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to make a meal for the family, the spacious back yard was such a peaceful spot to sit and drink coffee at in the morning, and its proximity to the river and to garrisons was perfect! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Susan is an amazing host. The cabin was immaculate and very well stocked. Communication was excellent and very helpful. I highly recommend Susan as a host. Our stay at Eagles nest was relaxing and very enjoyable.We will return

This place was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. Decor was beautiful and in excellent shape. Susan is an excellent host and thought of every single little detail to make any stay here perfect.

Our stay here was wonderful, it felt like a home away from home. You can tell the love and effort that has been put into this property, I look forward to visiting again and seeing what additional things are done. The house was beautiful and the views were amazing to me! We loved the fire pit and watching the deer and the eagle that are in the area. Our stay was perfect and we had everything we needed in the house.

Awesome location to catch your breath! Very beautiful scenery located on the River! I give Susan, the owner, an extra star for her constant concern for detail! Her home is perfect for lasting memories.

It is a lovely property on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing, near canoe rentals and local businesses and dining. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Susan, the owner, responded very promptly to all my questions.

We stayed during the recent flooding, and Susan was fabulous about communicating with us about travel and road closures and offered suggestions about avoiding flooded areas and other things we could do in the area since our float plans had been cancelled. The house was a great retreat for our family of 5, including 3 adult sons. There was plenty of space to enjoy each other's company, play games (many available in the closet--we played a couple of mean games of LIFE), and cook together. The setting is quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the river despite the flooding--it was still beautiful to watch it change over the few days we were there. On a related note, I would also like to give a shout-out to Lucky Clover Lakeside River Resort (Haley, specifically). When I called them about our float trip, she went above and beyond to talk me through the flooding, river levels, when to get concerned, etc. After we hung up, she even called me back to give me even more info. If you're staying at the cabin, and want to do a float trip, I highly recommend them! Our hearts go out to the residents in that area who suffered devastating damage and loss.

River Paradise

This property was everything we needed and more. Conveniently located on the river and close to town if we needed anything. We went for a short weekend getaway and had an absolute blast. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Location

My husband and I came for a quiet week away, and had a wonderful relaxing time! I could look out at the river all day from the living room windows. The host was very accommodating and helpful with our questions. Highly recommend, and I will be back!
