Our condo, The Gathering Place, is located within Sandpiper Cove. Sandpiper Cove, located on beautiful Holiday Isle in the heart of Destin, is a private gated community only one to two blocks away from the grocery store, drug store, movie theater, variety stores, restaurants, and attractions. In fact, one of Destin's premier restaurants (Louisiana Lagniappe) is on the premises and only steps away from our front door.

Sandpiper Cove Resort offers you more amenities than any other resort on the Emerald Coast, with 43 acres of fun for you and your family! Amenities abound, including boat ramp, marina, docks (Boat Docking on site at additional cost), 24-hour security, six lighted tennis courts, five pools (two heated), three hot tubs, and a FREE 9-hole par 3 golf course.

We offer Free Beach Service set-up that includes two chairs and an umbrella (March-October).three TVs, Free Wi-FI, one DVD player, washer and dryer, central heat/air, and a balcony directly on and overlooking the canal. Park your car at our front door and park your Boat or Jet Ski at our back door.

Awesome as always!

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely loved it again. We were able to fish the canal, reserve our beach spot every morning, and cook for our kids with ease. All necessities are there for you. We will definitely stay here again because it’s our favorite place to stay at Sandpiper Cove!

Family Beach Week 2024

We are repeat tenants at this condo because we had such a great experience last time. The hosts made everything so easy and we were very comfortable our entire stay!! This condo has everything you need to kick back and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The condo was very clean, tidy, and fully equipped. Thanks again for a great week!!!

Annual family beach trip

This is our second time staying in this condo we love it! The location is perfect for the beach and everything we love to do when we visit. My favorite is sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. Everything is clean, well taken care of, easy check in and check out. We’ve already starting panning for next year! Highly recommend this condo!

We’d love to stay here again! It was perfect!

This is probably the best place we’ve stayed at sandpiper cove. This was our fifth time coming to sandpiper cove and the owners had everything you needed. We were able to borrow the sand toys for the kids and fish right off the dock. We were able to cook as needed because they kitchen was well stocked. The check in process was very simple. The beach service was great because we didn’t have to bring our own chairs. The owners were very personable and quick to respond. We were able to use the washer and dryer to wash towels. The walk to the beach every day wasn’t too bad. This was a win win for our family of four.

Great Location and Relaxing Stay

As always, our visit to this condo was the highlight of the summer. It is a great location, well-appointed, and the hosts are great to deal with when you have questions. We have easy access to everything- close to a pool, a nice restaurant 100 yards away, and the beach is just a short walk.

Cute and convenient place!

We really enjoyed staying in your condo! It was conveniently located between all our favorite restaurants and the beach. Everything was fully stocked, the condo perfect for our family. We loved having the back balcony as well. Our girls loved feeding the fish. We even saw a turtle our last morning! We discovered the local market across the street which had an excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

This Condo Felt Like Home!!

We had a week vacation together with extended family and loved this condo. The entire rental process was easy and seamless!! The condo was very neat and tidy and felt so much like home. My kindle croaked while we were there and I was so thankful for the book selection, because how can you go to the beach and not read?? We had a great time and when we figure out our dates for Summer 2024 we will book this condo again!!

Great time in Destin

Comfortable condo in a great location. Short drive to shopping and restaurants. Also just a 5-10 min walk to the beach. The daily beach chairs and umbrella set up included was a nice touch. Especially since we flew down and couldn’t bring our own chairs. Also appreciated the closet with other beach items. Overall we had a wonderful time in Destin! Thank you!

Our favorite place to stay

We stay at Sandpiper Cove every year and enjoy it. This year our condo had new updated appliances and was very nice. A week isn’t long enough!!

Wonderful vacation spot for families.

Great Location and Great Condo

This condo is in a great spot for beach and restaurant access. The condo has a lot of space for a family and is well stocked with helpful items in the kitchen and plenty of beach toys in the closet. Coming here is always a great experience and the owners are easy to communicate with if anything comes up.

Exceptional

This was our first trip to Destin and we were thrilled with our stay. The condo was absolutely immaculate and the location could not be beat. So close to amazing aqua waters. We really enjoyed the deck on the bay. Coffee every morning and a beautiful sunset every night. I especially would like to compliment the owners on their attention to the detailing in decor. Gorgeous and something interesting on every wall. Would love to come back.

We have been coming to Sandpiper Cove for my whole life and we love it! This condo was fantastic! We loved sitting on the canal and watching the sunset and wildlife. It is so peaceful! This condo was fully stocked with everything! Literally so many extras that we never get! Great stocked kitchen, so many games, movies, books, and beach toys! We will 100% be back to this unit! Reasonably priced and close to beach.

We had a nice time in Destin. Check in was easy. It was nice to have 2 bedrooms and more space than a hotel room. Great view off back deck to the harbor. Less than 10 minute walk to beach. There was a closet full of beach toys! My boys got a lot of use out of the boogie boards and sand shovels. We used the cooler quite a bit! The owners are fantastic to work with and very responsive if you need anything or have questions.

Perfect Stay

We have stayed one week in each of the past four years and I cannot tell you how completely satisfied we are with this condo. The location is great, close enough to everything we want to do but not right on the main thoroughfare so you don't have to deal with traffic noise all the time. It's a five-minute walk to the beach or less than 1 minute to the pool. The included beach setup is great, much better than having to do my own setup every day. The condo itself is always very clean and very nicely decorated. There are some beach items in a closet to use if you need them, and there is a selection of rainy day-type activities like DVDs, books, and board games. The kitchen has most things you would need to cook if you choose to do so, and plates, bowls, and cups are available as well. The included washer and dryer make it easy to clean your beachwear when you want, or whatever would need cleaning. There are TVs in each bedroom and the living area, with a good selection of channels. The balcony over the canal is one of my favorite parts, very relaxing at any time, but early mornings and late nights are very nice. You get to see a good assortment of wildlife as well, various fish, a heron, ducks, and even a turtle this year. The owners are great to deal with if you need something, very responsive, and patient with questions. This is the best vacation rental we have found anywhere, very pleased with the whole experience.

Great Family condo

The condo was exactly as described and very updated. The kids enjoyed the games and DVD’s, but mostly we spent all our time at the beach. This unit comes with beach chair setup included which is a must but also provided some beach items that we took down with us, such as sand toys and extra beach chairs for the kids. We walked to the beach a few days and it was less than 10 minutes. We drove a couple times as well and had no trouble getting parking. After a beach day we hit the pool which is in eye shot of the condo. Also next door is a restaurant that we tried for the first time after 3 trips to sandpiper cove and it was very good. As far as the condo, the big things for us is a washer / dryer that works great, Ice maker, good air conditioning that can keep us at 72 degrees, and fans in every room to keep air moving when we sleep. This condo had all of those and we were very comfortable. The rooms have TVs which the kids enjoyed watching in bed. The balcony over the canal was nice to sit at night and listen for the local wildlife. We caught and released a couple crab which was fun. This was our 1st 2 bedroom at sandpiper and it was very nice. I would stay at this unit again.

We would stay here again!

Clean, updated, great layout. The on-site restaurant, Louisiana Lagniappe, was amazing! And there was always a lot of marine life to watch in the channel off the balcony. We had a great time! The beach service that set up a reserved spot for us each day with an umbrella and chairs was also fantastic.
