This property is spacious and clean - the beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have a washer and dryer! Located in a very quiet neighborhood, super easy access to downtown and also to the highway to get to Busch Gardens and other places in the Williamsburg area. Cons: it would have been nice to have a few more towels, and bath mats to protect the floors in the bathrooms. There were no dishwasher pods or extra trash bags, and some additional glasses and bowls (not plastic) also would have made the kitchen better equipped.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was big, spacious, and very nice. Perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The location was also ideal, close to everything we needed, from restaurants to shops and attractions. The place was spotless and well taken care of, which made us feel comfortable right away. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Clean "Homey" convenient location!

My family stayed in this sweet VRBO for four days. Everything we needed was there and it was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do! The owner was incredibly responsive and kind!

The house near Glen Allen Sports Complex

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped of everything we needed. It was nicely decorated. The master bedroom was really nice with a setting room next to it with a TV. This house had more space than expected. We will definitely stay again.

Great House for our group

House is as pictured. Lots of living space inside with comfortable furniture and beds. Our group of six adults had plenty of space. Kitchen is well stocked. Host responsive and friendly. Would stay again.

Family Get Together

Our family of five met in Richmond for the weekend. Home easily accommodated the 5 adults. The home was clean and comfortable. The owner responded quickly to my texts. I would stay thrre agaiñ when in the area.

Perfect for Our Group

Came into town for a golf weekend. The house was convenient to the highway for getting to the courses and a short Uber ride to and from the restaurants, breweries, and bars. Check-in and check-out were painless. The house and the amenities exceeded expectations. Communication from Christian and Naomi was excellent. I will stay here again next time I am in the area.

Almost perfect

The location and house / features were just as listed. Nice quiet location, but close to lots of things. Christian and Naomi were responsive to address needs. One minor nuisance was small number of small ants - mostly in/around tubs

Great price for good space

We stayed at this house for our daughter’s graduation from the University of Richmond. Campus was 10 to 15 minutes away. Grocery store is minutes away. Great to have 2-1/2 baths with six adults in the house getting ready. Plenty of space for all of us to hang out together. Christian was very responsive to any communication I had with him. Great place to stay.

Cons: When we arrived we immediately noticed that the trash had not been taken out in what looks like weeks and it was full of nasty flies which were flying in the house when you open the door. There were ants in the kitchen, bathrooms, and beds.The house had paint peeling off the walls in the shower in the master bedroom, holes in the walls in different places, flooring tiles were coming up, washer/dryer is rusted and the dryer button is hanging down behind the dryer not even connected to the appliance. The yard had not been mowed and the house was semi clean. Pros: The house has lots of room, close to all the restaurants and shops.The house needs updating every thing looks very old. Otherwise it would be a nice house if things were updated. The owner was very responsive but when I asked for a refund on some of our stay he threatened to report my post and say that I wanted payment for a good review. I wanted payment for the house not being properly maintained. Please do not stay here unless he fixes what he needs to!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take the cleanliness and maintenance of our property very seriously, and we immediately investigated these claims. I asked for us to review them in person with the guest and immediately fix any issue, but the guest refused to let us do this. Instead the guest asked for $500 to not hear about this again. While we always welcome constructive feedback to improve our guest experience, we cannot accommodate refunds under threats of negative reviews.

Perfect base for trip down memory lane

This home was ideal for three adult siblings. We shared meals and down time together but also had our own bedrooms. There are multiple living rooms with comfy sofas, perfect for spreading out to read, watch TV, or work. Great wi-fi in the common areas. Fantastic communication with the host, Christian. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and you can't beat the location for access to anything you need - Target, Home Depot, Kroger, restaurants, etc.My brother shared his 50th birthday with the 50th anniversary of Kings Dominion and Busch gardens. This property was a great home base for both parks plus day trips to Virginia Diner, C'ville, and Fredericksburg. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property

This property is located on a quiet street, is beautifully maintained, and is close to all.Please beware of bugs. Someone else complained of ants. We did our best to thoroughly clean and put away all food each night as well as close the bathroom sink drains. With the drains opened, we had several ants in one bathroom and a brown recluse spider in the 2nd bathroom. The owner was responsive and mentioned that they will treat the inside and outside of property.

Spacious, easy location and good price

We stayed for 3 nights - group of three 50+ year old HS friends in town for a wedding/golf weekend. House/street was very quiet and convenient to food/stores, etc. House was clean, linens/towels provided (bring your own shampoo/soap), etc. Appliances worked, showers were good/clean, etc. Only gripe was there was a bit of an ant infestation -- we didn't leave food open on the counter, but we did have some wrapped cookies that were covered with about 1,000 ants one morning. We also noticed some in the bathrooms. It's not surprising as sugar ants tend to come inside when it's rainy (which it was) -- assuming they lay down a few traps, it will be fine. It really wasn't a major eal for us as we're pretty low maintenance. Also, the lawn/exterior seems overgrown, so not sure if they're going for the natural look, but if they kept it low/maintained, it would certainly add to the outside aesthetic. Overall, great place, location and price. Host was very communicative with questions and needs as well.
