Beautiful 2 story home in Congress Park. One block away from Congress Park playground and swimming pool. Walk to Cherry Creek North and Congress Park shops and restaurants. Also walking distance to the Denver Botanic Gardens and Cheesman Park. Back brick patio leads to detached two-car garage, and yard is fully fenced.
The space
Wood floors, 9’ ceilings and incandescent lighting throughout lower level highlight spacious rooms. Great windows that let the light in. Nice cabinetry in the kitchen with gas stove, elegant lighting, granite countertops and a breakfast bar are open to dining area. Custom built Elfa closet systems throughout the bedrooms. All upper bedrooms have great character with the unique ceiling. Spacious master with en suite 5-pc bath. Lower level family room with more wood floors, natural light and is another great room for relaxing.

Wish the wine fridge had been working, but other than that, very good stay.

Wonderful stay

Our gamily stayed at this property for three summer months. The location was excellent and Jenn was super receptive to our needs. Kids loved that they could walk/bike to the pool close by

Disappointing Experience

Dish washer and internet were not working. Dish washer was eventually fixed. Host offered to book XFinity when WE could meet them. We responded that she would have to make arrangements to meet them. Previous guest had internet issues as well. Why was this not fixed prior to check in? Host booked XFinity for 7/19. We checked in 6/30. Had to rent an office in order to have internet. Host issued a discount but it did not cover our expense. The AC went out and we had to check into a hotel for 3 nights. The host refunded 2 nights. Repair took place the afternoon of day 3 and we were told by host that home would be cooled down by the evening. Temperatures were triple digits and we could not have been in the house that day. it was 84 degrees inside at 6:30 that morning. This is a 4200 foot home with one AC unit. Host decided to book XFinity repair for the day that we checked back in. Too little too late as we had already rented office space. We wanted to settle back in after 3 days gone and asked for her to do repair after we checked out. She committed to me that she would cancel repair then immediately went to my husband to tell him that she would not be cancelling repair appointment. At this point we felt that we had no choice but to make a claim with VRBO. They spoke with her and appointment was cancelled. We will never be made whole for this but those who book moving forward should know that this home is well worn, not well maintained and on a busy street.
