We loved our stay on the pond! What a sweet and cozy cottage, very well appointed for a relaxing stay, with beautiful views overlooking the pond. We enjoyed canoeing, watching the eagles soar overhead, swimming, cooking in the kitchen, and just relaxing. We would love to come back.

This was a great quite getaway. The house is adorable and I great place to get outdoors. Great time fishing, swimming, and having fires. Great place to get off screens and enjoy nature.

Enjoyed our stay

Joanna was very accommodating. All was as advertised. Well stocked kitchen. Easy access to the water. Enjoyed the provided canoe.

Warm and cozy cabin

The cabin is perfectly equipped and we felt at home right away ! The view on the lake is wonderful and the area is perfect to go hiking or any other outdoor activity. Jovanna and John were also perfect and welcoming ! Thank you for the week-end we had at your cabin, we had an amazing time :)

Vassily and Clara were the perfect guests! We are always happy to know when guests come, relax, are interested and enthusiastic about their surroundings, participate in outside activities, explore the little towns, engage in rural life the way it is here and enjoy their stay to the fullest. And.... we are always appreciative when camp is left clean and neat. Thank you for sharing our happy spot, enjoying your adventure with us, and we hope you will return!!

Golden Girls Getaway

The space was perfect for four moms needing to decompress. Communication with Jovanna & John was great! Their place was well stocked and provided everything we needed.

It was a pleasure having Amanda and her friends. In spite of constant rain and incident with the smoke detector going off, they were relaxed, good humored and took camp life in stride. They felt our grill needed replacing which we did immediately and appreciate they brought it to our attention. They left camp very neat and clean. We welcome their return.

Gorgeous

We came to visit my daughter who lives near by and couldn’t have picked a better place ! The cottage is immaculate everything you could need! The view is amazing on the water . The only negative thing I would say is the no internet access only for the reason we got locked out when we 1rst arrived and we were able to find a spot outside to texted the owner a message and he was there very quickly. Overall we had the best time and would highly recommend this place !!

Great cabin by the pond

We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily love and this cabin was the perfect getaway. Secluded and great way to disconnect from the electronics. The cabin had a homey feel and the view of the pond was spectacular. At night my wife and I say back on the dock and did some start gazing which was wonderful!

We realized there was no air-conditioning. The owners told us to open the living room windows. It was unbearable in there. Why couldn't they have "cooled" it off and air it out before our arrival? But the worst: upstairs where the beds were THE WINDOWS DIDN'T OPEN. It was old, not charming in the least bit. Smelly, dark and, well, they at least had a note about the hole in the floor so we were lucky and didn't fall through the floor.

A Classic Maine Camp

My girlfriend and I loved this camp! The view from the dock is one we won’t forget. Canoeing around the pond and up the river was fun. We hiked a few of the many trails in the area. We curled up with good books during a rainy morning. And, we enjoyed exploring Bethel. We couldn’t ask for anything more from a camp in Maine. Thank you so much for welcoming us to the camp. What a terrific adventure to finish the summer!

Nicely appointed camp on the pond

Overall we had a nice stay at Toddy's Camp - it is obvious that the camp itself (which is a really cute wood cabin) is well loved and taken care of. The cabin has everything we needed - plates, kitchen utensils, linens, etc, and was very clean and cozy. Check in was contactless and a breeze, and there is a helpful binder of instructions, notes, and local recommendations. It does get very hot inside on warm days due to the windows facing the pond, but the owners have provided ample fans. The only drawback to our stay is that there is a very large tree fallen down along the dock we weren't aware of, which was a haven for critters. While I'm sure it would be great for fishing, in combination with the shallow water and more marshy water conditions, the location was not conducive to swimming.There was a little fire pit and a canoe for use, plus a deck off the side of the house with a grill that was stocked with propane. It's clear the owners are thoughtful and looking to provide everything you might need during your stay.

This was the perfect little cabin for our two night stay for a cousin's wedding. It was close enough to the amenities of Oxford, yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Hearing the loons is such a nice way to wake up and drink your coffee. Everything was clean, organized and informative. We took the canoe out on the pond a couple times and it was so nice to float around a bit on the pond.

Hello Brian. Thank you again for leaving camp so clean! We hope you will revisit some day. I did check to make sure the hot water was working properly in the shower. It is and gets very hot. I believe you just did not turn the knob far enough to the left. We wish you had let us know during your stay so we could have addressed it right away in case there might have been a real problem. Safe travels home and enjoy the rest of your summer. Jovanna

Good fishing spot

The view of the pond was beautiful. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had all we needed. A canoe was provided and my husband was able to catch plenty of fish. The cabin was lovely and the view breathtaking. Just keep in mind that it sits on a road where cars and trucks fly by and are visible from the deck. We still had a great, relaxing weekend.
