This custom built Rocky Mountain Home is one of a kind. This property has it all, privacy yet close to amenities, open concept with amazing windows overlooking the open deck. The radiant heat and wood stove along with the modern amenities and game room makes this luxurious retreat truly enjoyable. The property is within walking distance to hiking trails and both the town beach & boat launch are nearby with access to some of Maine's best fishing. And the 2nd kitchen and hot tub are also an added bonus.

Really enjoyed this house the host is very communicative which we loved. Access to the lake was convenient and the community on the lake was friendly and respectful. Would definitely recommend

The house was amazing. LOVED the fact that Tom left plenty of soap, shampoo,dish detergent, etc. for our use and name brand toilet paper, which NEVER happens!!The house was super clean and had a beautiful private yard. Basement was a little damp( it rained) but there was a dehumidifier there for our use, so it really wasn't a problem.I would absolutely recommend this place for families...we will be back!!

The host was very responsive. The house was cozy and just as pictured. We had three families with young kids and all had a great time and plenty of space. I recommend this place for sure!

Beautiful cabin, perfect location for a family getaway. We had stayed in Bridgton previously and decided to head a little further north. Tom’s cabin did not disappoint! He was a great host, communicative with wonderful recommendations. We hiked Bucks Ledge and swam at Step Falls. My daughter and I used Toms paddle boards on Round Pond to fish and find our moment of Zen. All in all, the total rest and recharge our family was seeking. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus! The kids already asked to come back up again. (Don’t forget to get breakfast and freshly baked bread at The Local Hub! It was incredible!)

Perfect for a ski weekend!

We had a great time! Tom was super communicative and the place was exactly as listed. The location is great and perfect for a ski weekend being so close to Sunday River. We would definitely stay here again!

What a fantastic place and stay. We enjoyed the property and took advantage of the kayak and stand up paddle boards that were right on the lake. Plenty of space for my family of 12 to have a reunion with hikes, swimming, and fun excursions into town and the local ski resorts. The host was friendly and welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. We'd love to come again.

Very comfortable, convenient location

The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable with three floors of living space. The location is excellent and very close to Mt. Abrams and Sunday River. The property manager was very responsive. We had a great family vacation!

Wonderful place!

Really enjoyed spending the holidays here with family. Beautiful cabin in very quiet location. Very close to mount abrams and short drive to Bethel. Also hiking nearby at local park. Host was also very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice family weekend skiing! The house, property and location were great! Had all the essentials! All of us especially enjoyed the hot tub!Tom was quick and responsive to our communication - Needed propane and drive sanded. This was addressed quickly! We would return!

Second Time Staying Here

We had a great time together staying at this beautiful house for our winter adventures. The owner was a delight to communicate with, the house was clean and the bedding was so soft. The hot tub was on the smaller-side but it was quick to heat up after some particularly cold snowy nights, and snow removal was speedy. Would stay again!

Enjoyable holiday

Stayed with extended family, the place was perfect. Well kept, spacious. Everything we could ask for. Communication with the property manager was also excellent. Would stay again. A quick ride and convenient to Sunday River - for those that ski.

Tom's property is a very comfortable and cozy place for a group. The kitchen is well organized for preparing food for a larger group. The beds are particularly comfy...had the best couple nights of sleep I've had in years! I just wish we could have spent a week!

Pleasant stay in Greenwood

We had a relaxing week in Greenwood. The house was very comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Lots of things to do nearby with most requiring a short drive. Tom checked in with us over the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall an outstanding vacation and wouldn't hesitate to to rent again.

Another perfect ski weekend

This is our second year staying at this property, and we will surely be back again. It is perfect for a ski weekend. The house is beautiful and only 15 minutes from Sunday River. It has everything we could need. The driveway can sometimes be a bit slick, so snow tires or 4WD can be helpful, but honestly- my old 2WD mini van has successcully navigated it 2 years in a row, so I wouldn't sweat it if you are used to driving in New England winters.

Amazing location and stay

My wife and I got married right on Mt. Abram and this was the perfect place to stay. We could get into town quickly and get to the mountain quickly. Very clean place as well!

Secluded Modern Log Chalet

The log chalet was beautiful. Great location. It was secluded but just a short walk to a local coffee shop which we enjoyed very much. The nearest town was about 15 minutes away with shops, breweries and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were comfortable and our host installed air conditioners before our stay due to the unseasonably warm weather. We also made use of the canoe on the pond across from the property. We would definitely book again.

Friends ski reunion

We just pulled this together one weekend while we were all on a group phone call reminiscing about our time in school together. Well the house was bigger than we had realized originally, so we were able to expand on our small group and bring together a few friends who havent seen eachother in years. It ended up being a fantastic reunion, we had great weather at Sunday river for a great day of snowboarding. And the hot tub was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. We all vowed to return to this exact house for some snowboarding next season, and maybe even some golf in the summer!
