Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Destin Beach Retreat

Good communication, easy parking, and access to the unit. We felt safe with a 24-hour security gate. There was also easy access to the heated pool and beach. The best walkable beach we've been to!We appreciated having the in-unit laundry. Would have been even better if there were beach towels, a cooler, and beach chairs to use. Also, some more hangers.We would stay again and would recommend it to others..

Highly recommend

Everything was great, except the fact that I didn’t have the code to enter the room emailed to me and I had to go through a little red tape to get the code which was frustrating because I was tired and ready to settle in.

Beach/Jetty

We loved the beach - lots of shells. Very close to jetty for fishing. Only downside to the area is that you can’t rent scooters - only bikes. Condo was wonderful for two. I would bring my two kiddos back and we’d be comfortable as a family of 4.

Perfect little getaway spot!

I loved this place. Perfect spot for a couple or a few friends to crash and hit the beach! The beach is so close, pool is great, tennis. Parking was also easy as well. I hope to rent at this place again in the future!

Nice unit despite hiccups

The only reason I’m reviewing this is to applaud Vacasa for handling situations that we encountered generously. We had no AC for our entire stay, the elevator is horrible and feels unsteady and the other elevator was not working our entire stay. Other than that the unit was nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Destin condo

The unit was older than it appeared online. It was very clean. Because of its age there were workmen there every day making it very noisy. The drains in the bathroom are both in need of Drano. Also, all the remote batteries need to be replaced. The water in the ice machine in the Fri didn’t work.

Clean, close to so many restaurants, pool was beautiful !!!I. Great bay view!!!!! Gated loved that! I would suggest blackout curtains in the bedroom and the ice maker didn’t work .

6 week stay

Pros: the unit was clean and check in was easy, the location was excellent, close to shopping, restaurants and activities in the area, the beach was right out of the front of the building and was beautiful, the view from our condo was very relaxing, the unit has a washer and dryer. Cons: the ice maker did not work, some of the utensils in the kitchen need to be updated, there was only counter seating for meals and the bar stools were not very comfortable, a small dining table would have been nice, the bed was noisy and not very comfortable, the unit had no beach chairs to use at the beach and the satellite TV kept going out. Renovations were being conducted during our entire stay, one elevator was non-operational for our entire stay and another one broke down several times, half of the parking area was closed off and finding a space became a problem at times, the pavilion next to the beach was under re construction and we were not able to use it at all. Hopefully the renovations are almost complete, and this will not be an issue in the future.

It was nice we weren't looking at the beach from our patio but what we did get to see was the fireworks out our patio view that was really cool. Overall it was convenient to the stores the outlet and restaurants. Great location.

Nice Stay

The condo was nice and clean. We were unable to figure out how the shower turned on, however, the owner sent someone for assistance. Only complaint was the hall lights shining in the bedroom window at night. The view and the beach were gorgeous. We will definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay

The unit could use a little TLC, clean huge spot on bedroom carpet that greets you when you walk in the room. Sad the dryer did not work the entire 3 weeks we stayed here but one has been ordered. Other than that we totally enjoyed staying in this condo and the Jetty East. Our plans are to return next year at the same time.
