Recently acquired and primarily used as the owner’s vacation home, this condo in Sundestin Resort offers all of the amenities, right in the heart of downtown Destin- at an affordable price! Centrally located on Highway 98, the Sundestin Resort is within close proximity of shopping, restaurants, night life, miniature golf courses, water sports, and everything else you would want on your vacation! Highly Recommend!

Condo was exactly as pictured and we really enjoyed our stay here. Stunning view! With 4 of us, the two toilets and two sinks were great. Had to buy a couple of small dish towels to wash dishes and some trash bags but had pretty much everything else we needed. We did bring extra towels and wash cloths so we didnt have to wash and dry laundry everyday. We would definitely stay here again though. Mr Danny was great! Super nice, excellent communication beforehand, called to see how everything was after we checked in, and recommended several places to eat that after being to Destin 6 times, we had never been to before. We tried three of them and my goodness they were all delicious! The building may be undergoing some renovations at the moment but we hardly noticed. No noise where we were and other than the outdoor pool opening a little late each day, we couldn’t tell. Once all renovations are completed to all condos and the building, this property will be one of the best and nicest in Destin! Super convenient to have a restaurant & bar, coffee/gift shop, gym, splash pad, and both an indoor and outdoor pool at this condominium. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and it was phenomenal! Bar drinks were good too! Will definitely be back and we highly recommend condo 1607 and Mr. Danny!

Perfect Vacation Stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Met all of our needs for a family of 4. The splash pad and indoor pool was perfect for our little one. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend to friends and will definitely be going back!!!

Beautiful place!

Room was clean and exactly like the pictures. All amenities were operational as described in the listing. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you want beautiful ocean front views in a beautifully decorated room!

Great condo!

We loved our stay! We spent all our condo time on the balcony or sleeping. The balcony view is amazing. Danny, the owner was great with communication. Called us several times before our trip and once during the trip to make sure all was well. Danny gave us some recommendations on where to eat, we stopped at them all and we were not disappointed.

Great view. Clean

Great view! Pretty clean but outdated. The WiFi was atrocious. We had to stand by the bathroom to get a good signal. When you’re from out of town WiFi is pretty important. More towels would have been nice. We were there for 5 nights with 3 people and 4 towels. There was a whole closet full of beach essentials which was nice. Otherwise Daniel, the owner was amazing and again, the view!!!! Not at any fault of the owner but I may have made other plans if I knew that the building was going to be under construction. The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool closed early and was always packed full. Parking was difficult as the parking lot had more cars than spaces and you couldn’t pull up by the doors to drop off/load your car because construction had blocked it off. I would recommend this to anyone who is maybe just looking to sleep and enjoy a great view.

Great view. Good unit.

The view is just what you want, straight view over the beach. The unit is adequate. All of what you need, not all of what you might want. No ceiling fan in the bedroom (box fan provided). Bathroom could use some attention. Nice to have extra half bath. Old style electric range, good assortment of pots and pans (no pizza pan), but absolutely no 'starter' items (salt, pepper, etc.). So, bring your own, buy it at the Walmart close by, or just eat out. Furniture relatively comfortable. The walls are thin, so hope for no or quiet neighbors. All this said, I would consider renting it again. Conversations with the owner were very good. Seemed like a great guy. Very helpful.

My husband and I flew in for a short stay and had a wonderful time. I was so happy there was a small chair there because I sit in that at waters edge all day, and nap under umbrella. We will be back!

It was a beautiful property with unbeatable views!! Very clean and we loved the beach theme decorations! We saw dolphins multiple times right from our balcony! Danny is very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Spectacular view!!

Condo was very clean, and exactly as described. Bed was very comfortable and the view is amazing!!! Will definitely rent again if we visit Destin. Daniel was always available to answer any questions/concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing View

This condo is on the 16th floor and overlooks the beach. Amazing views! We ate breakfast every morning on the balcony. We spent every morning and evening walking the beach. The condo was very clean. One bedroom with king sized bed. View to the beach is available only from living room. No washer or dryer inside unit. One is located on the floor but it is $5 to wash and dry each load. Kitchen had all basics provided and ice maker provided ample ice.

Danny and Vanessa have been married 27 years, and it has always been their dream to own a property on the beach like this one. Danny is employed at Horseshoe Casino in Southern IN, and Vanessa works for Jefferson County Public Schools. They have two children, Alex and Gordon. Alex graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2008, and Gordon is currently a student at the University of Louisville. Some of our favorite local spots: Silver Sands Outlet Malls, McGuires Irish Pub, John Quigley's Sports Bar (best cheeseburgers in Destin!), and The Back Porch.
