This was our second time staying here and it was perfect. Plenty of room and the layout of the house was great. We didn’t use the fire table but spent a lot of time out on the deck. We plan to make this an annual retreat! Thanks so much

We booked this house for our family in order for all of us to be able to spend time together. We filled the place with there being 12 of us, 6 children and 6 adults, but we had plenty of space to gather in while not feeling like we were tripping over each other. The house was clean, the decor tasteful, the kitchen was well stocked with pans, spices, etc. and the bedrooms had nice beds and bedding. All of the appliances were top notch and even though we basically only used the living room tv is was nice to have one in each bedroom. We had a paper airplane making and flying competition off the deck so my oldest grandson used his tv to you tube some plane ideas. We loved how the main level had the large seating area which flowed through to the open kitchen with a dining area that led out to the deck. We used the propane fire pit each night and were treated to gorgeous sunsets prior to story telling and laughter around the fire. The area is quiet and there but there are hikes to be had and areas to explore 5 to 20 minutes from the house. We loved everything about our stay, I had a few questions prior to our arrival, The owner was so attentive and responded right way to questions. We would definitely return. There wasn't a thing we would change about our stay. Easy check in and check out. Definitely a 5 star stay!

Excellent accommodations!

We really enjoyed our stay in the mountain house! Accommodations were clean and very spacious for a family of seven. The location is very quiet and beautiful as you explore the historic Harpers Ferry area. We definitely recommend to others.

Great home in Harpers Ferry!

This place was everything and more. We had quite a large group coming in for a weekend trip, and this place was able to fit all of us. The pictures do not do it justice because this place was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Would love to come back one day!

WV get away

The house is spacious and the setting gorgeous. The place was clean and well stocked. Communication with the owner was very easy and prompt. If I ever travel to that area with a need for a house that size, I would definitely stay there.

Rental experience

We loved the house. Everything we needed was supplied. Our grandkids loved the bunk room. My husband and myself so enjoyed morning coffee while watching the many deer and two fox. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great weekend here

This house has a beautiful location and it was perfect for our purposes. It was clean, comfortable, functional and inviting. All amenities were present and accounted for and the house supplied needs like aluminum foil and trash bags. I had a whole list of items I ran by the owner before the trip, items I usually have to bring to VRBOs and was very happy to hear that I needed to bring none of them to this house. The owner Mark replied very promptly to every question both before and after booking and also during the stay. It was a great experience! Thanks, Mark
