The house had all amenities you would need to feel comfortable. The jacuzzi, farm animals, and lake were the perfect added features to make this stay feel like a calming fun vacation. Everything was extra cleaned and well maintained. The communication with the property manager was easy and quick - making the check in and check out process seamless.

Beautiful and relaxing location! We loved seeing the farm animals and walking the trails on the property. We enjoyed the kayaks on the little lake and it is great that they provided life jackets. The home is extremely well stocked, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was enjoyable. They even had bowls, towels and supplies for our dog! The only suggestion I have is to have more hooks for hanging wet suits and towels. The water has an odor that is a little off-putting, so you might want to bring some filtered water for drinking. We would definitely come back!

Stay at the Woods

This place is a gem! Has everything you need, a great retreat that's not far from local conveniences. Love that there are trails right on the property. We'd love to come back!

Very nice

I visited over Christmas with three adult family members and the place was perfect over the winter holiday. Enjoyed the fully appointed kitchen and the electric fireplace heater.

Bunkhouse

Quiet, comfortable, only 1 bathroom for multiple dwelling. Parking close was not available. Overall a great stay and would do it again

Perfect stay for our family

The house was perfect for us. We needed a dog-friendly home base while visiting family in the area and The Woods exceeded our expectations. The deck was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee (thank you for the supply of coffee pods!) and everyone had fun using the pool table in the evenings. We slept really well and the kitchen was well stocked with the supplies needed. It is a very comfortable, well-designed and thoughtfully appointed home away from home for a few days. The farm was an added bonus as we were able to visit the animals and there were plenty of trails for walking the dog. Thank you again for a wonderful visit and we hope to stay again next time we are in town.

Perfect Family Trip

Check in and out was so simple. Very minimal cleaning was required and the 12pm check out time was so nice so we didn't have to rush around. It's almost like having another half day of vacation time added! The property manager, Annette was very accommodating and responsive. The Barn Manager, Nate was friendly and knowledgeable. It's easy to tell everyone here loves their job. As for the rental, it was nicely renovated and had everything we needed to make our stay simple and relaxing. The kitchen utensils were all newer and clean. There were plenty of games for families. The shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash were a wonderful surprise too! There were details there that I never would have thought of but sure appreciated: makeup wipes and makeup washcloths, a full selection of kuerig tea and coffee supplies, a griddle for cooking, bath towels for the super clean hot tub (professionally cleaned weekly), cozy blankets everywhere, cinnamon rolls in the fridge for us, kindling and firewood already provided.. the list could go on forever! Everything was so well thought out to make the stay more enjoyable. They definitely know how to make you feel appreciated. The only thing we wished for was for the fridge water and ice to work so we didn't have to go out to get ice. Overall, the stay was wonderful and worth every penny. Our family had a blast at the farm and the aquarium. We will definitely be back!
