They need to deep clean the property. The backyard got trash and gazebo were in terrible shape. The pool table is in very bad shape. We had to wash the beddings because it still has some hair left on it. The masters bed don’t have a liner.

Perfect set up for 4 adult friends. Nice house with 4 separate bedrooms that all have full sized beds (no bunk beds).

Decent stay

Good location and overall a pleasant stay.Back yard was not used but there were tumbleweeds, trash, and the sitting area was not too inviting but it was windy when we were there. There aren’t lamps in some of the rooms so plan on keeping the main light on if you’ll be needing any kind of night during the evening and night time. Coffee maker is a Keurig which is fine but bring pods as there are none in the home. Home is spacious and lots of sitting room. Appreciated the friendly neighbors and lots of good food in the area. Never received check out instructions but left the house clean. Would stay here again.

Great stay!

Great stay and really great communication from host. Not a ton of extra frills but it was exactly as shown on the listing and even provided water on our arrival. We'd definitely stay here in the future!

Safe neighborhood, plenty of room, lots of TV’s. Solid home owner. House was fine not elaborate but way better than any hotel.

Our experience

There were ants and lots of cockroaches. It didn’t seem like it had been cleaned very well. Kitchen wasn’t fully stocked with necessities. Listing said no animals but you can tel there has been an animal. I had an allergic reaction while there.

There are major issues. The listing photos are misleading and the property did not live up to the description. Overall the place was filthy. There is surface grime on doors (inside and out), and unpleasant odors. There were hair clumps in every bathroom and great globs of dust scattered throughout the house. The upholstered furniture and chairs need cleaning, several are stained. This would not be an issue with standard thorough cleaning. Several items were inoperative or missing. Specifically, a smoke alarm in a bedroom, missing locking mechanism for locks, fans and water flow. The condition of the linens (sheets and towels) were very worn and/or ill fitting. Towels were not much better than rags and should have been retired and used for cleaning cars or drying dogs. The outside trash bins were overfull, and there are two more full trash bags in the garage. The garage is a mix of junk and other items that limits the inside parking to one vehicle.The biggest disappointment was the backyard. Call it a disaster and shocking. Left over dog filth, tumbleweeds, leaves, and trash, were tangled in the tattered fabric of the canopy. The grill was disgusting and totally unusable. The fire pit filthy. Outside seating was grimy.

Place to Rest

First, I'll start with the host was very friendly and timely with responses. The house was average and had prior damages, like the pool table triangle and shelves within a closet. Things were placed in the bedroom closet as a space keeper. Garage probably shouldve been locked because there were items in the garage that were in disarray. It honestly looked like it's been used as a party house for college kids. Towels were pretty thin, not that it matters, I guess. We only stayed 2 nights, so had we stayed longer it probably would've bothered me more. Backyard was kind of in disarray. The small warmer area with chairs under the pergola looked nothing like the picture. Kind of was falling apart. Overall it was a decent place for me and my extended family to stay together without the expensive rates of a hotel.

Not welcoming

Yuck! No bed mattress pads . I can’t even imagine the dead skin in those beds. No cloths to wash the dishes. No hand towels or washcloths in the bathrooms. The thinnest towels for the larger bathroom ones to dry off. 2 cockroaches in the downstairs area. The outside area hadn’t been picked up, chairs not under gazebo that is torn to shreds 1/4 roof now. Dishes still in the dishwasher and dirts ones in the drawer. The microwaves glass rotating plate was still in the dishwasher we later discovered. They say there is a coffee maker… it is a Keurig with no pods in the house and someone’s leftover pod used. The garage has someones junk in it. It has great air conditioning, a refrigerator that works, extra blankets, internet and a great neighborhood.

Not what I expected.

My family and I traveled in for a few days to visit some family and we were eager to stay in a nice house. I booked this property weeks in advance and never received instructions from the owner on entering the property. The owner did get back with instructions on where the key was located and the keycode to the front door. Not a huge deal but annoying that it wasn't provided before our arrival. Upon entering the house and walking into the kitchen, I found the backdoor wide open. I informed the owner of this and never received a response. The pictures of the property were quite deceiving to what we experienced. All the rooms of the house are represented in the pictures, it's the condition of the rooms that wasn't properly represented. I feel like we were staying in a fraternity house based on the condition we found it. Multiple blinds in the house were broken/busted, laminate flooring popped up in different parts of the house, quarter-round broken and missing, transition pieces on the stairs not properly secured (tripping hazard), and several pieces of furniture that could use fixing or replacement. We felt the overall cleanliness was mediocre at best. Exhaust fans in the bathroom were clogged with dust, all the baseboards had dirt and grime, and multiple walls throughout the house had visible stains and grime. We didn't use pots or pans but I did find someone's weed scale in the kitchen. Had I known the house would be in this condition, I'd have booked another location.

Dirty house

So when I booked this home there wasn’t any reviews and that should have served as a warning. The host was very friendly and helpful however the home was anything but clean. The house looked like it was in the middle of a bad remodel. Stairs were a different color than the rest of the flooring. Very dirty and it was hard to get over the smell. There were hairs on 2 of the beds. Baseboards were not finished in the corners and there were gaps between the flooring and the walls. It looked so dirty. When we went into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator it was full of condiments and half used stick of butter. In the living room there were crumbs on the furniture. The trash in the backyard was full of beer cans. We did not stay in the house we had to find other accommodations. When I contacted VRBO they said I had to give the host a chance to clean it but honestly there was no way a little cleaning was going to help that place. We had to get 3 rooms at a hotel during ballon Fiesta which was virtually impossible. The host offered to return my cleaning fee which I believe was 100 bucks - what a joke. We travel every couple of months and use VRBO regularly and this was by far the worse experience and the dirtiest house we have ever seen.

Location was great -perfect for our family get together. Communicating with the landlord was a nightmare. I tried for six weeks to modify our dates and Never got a response. Even going through the Vrbo site, got no response. I had to call Eric directly twice to get the entry code, and am still waiting to hear about the adjustment to my invoice for the 4 days we were not there because he never responded to my requests to adjust dates. The property has potential but we were disappointed on arrival with the condition of the house. The beds were clean, made and ready but none of the bathrooms had towels- clean towels were in the dryer- or extra TP for when the partial rolls were used. The living room furniture had not been vacuumed in quite a while and the floors left everyone’s socks black on the bottom. The backyard patio and grill were great, but would have been more enjoyable if the tattered gazebo roof and sides were attached and in one piece. The listing said sleeps 10, with 4 bedrooms and 2 Murphy beds in living room. Never found the twin beds In living room, but there was enough room for a queen air mattress - and Walmart is nearby. We had a wonderful week - focused on time together and making the best of what the house offered. We changed some light bulbs and put a screw in the front door strike plate so the door would stay closed without the deadbolt and reported the dishwasher not working and a bedroom ceiling fan noisy and wobbling.

My family came from out of state to visit me. the home was Clean, Comfortable and Affordable. Check in was effortless and the host communication was immidiate. The home has everything you need.
