If you’re looking to truly get away, this newly updated home—nestled on a magical rocky outcrop overlooking beautiful Clear Lake—is the perfect retreat. Take in sweeping panoramic lake views and watch migrating birds pass through the sky.
Unwind on the private deck, shaded by mature oak trees, and enjoy the sight of ospreys gliding below. The home also makes an ideal base for adventure. Just 20 minutes away, Mendocino National Forest offers endless outdoor activities, including mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
The house is serviced by a natural surface well water system. During warmer months, the water may have a mild natural sulfur scent. The water is safe, fully filtered, and backwashed daily. You may occasionally hear water cycling through the system from the laundry room during these backwash periods.
A peaceful, nature-immersed escape—perfect for relaxation, exploration, and reconnecting with the outdoors.

Wonderful getaway with our kids to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful views. Kids both loved catching big fish right off the dock - we spent all day down there hanging out. We stocked up on groceries before arriving and the house had everything we needed to cook and stay put. We also loved spotting birds around the area - so many! Very special family time! Thank you

Absolutely loved the location. Secluded with wonderful views and lots of local wildlife (quail, herons, egrets, eagles, osprey, otters, etc.). A well provisioned kitchen that easily handled our cooking needs. They thoughtfully provided an assortment of snacks, wine, and some bottled water (I'd recommend bringing some more water with you if you go in the summer).The only thing that was any issue was the tap water. We were there during a blue algae bloom in the lake so the water certainly had a smell to it (even the restaurants in Clearlake weren't serving water for the same reason). Some air freshener and scented hand sanitizer helped with that when taking showers and washing our hands.And the water filtration system purges itself automatically at 8 am every morning for 15 minutes. Sounded like a leaking tire and caught me off-guard the first morning. :)

What an amazing place! We didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The property is off the beaten path and very quiet. Although you have neighbors nearby, it feels very secluded. When you walk in you're greeted by one of the prettiest vistas. You're high off the lake so you can see a 180 degree view of the beautiful lake. Private dock. The rooms and kitchen are very clean. Comfy beds. Washer & Dryer room. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic option for anyone looking for a quiet time in and around the clear lake area. The property has all of what you need, and nothing of what you don't. It's clearly well maintained--one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in. We look forward to making a return trip.

This house has fantastic views and it’s very clean! It’s one of the cleanest house we have stayed in. The beddings and towels’ quality are very good and not scratchy. The host provided more than enough towels, complimentary snacks & wines as well as fishing equipment. The kitchen is also fully stocked with coffee and cooking condiments, with complete kitchen utensils. It is very quiet and peaceful. The view is amazing and we cannot wait to come back again! We would definitely be booking again, specially in the summer as the private fishing dock is convenient. It is in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful, beautiful view birds environment was gorgeous. Only problem with the property was the oven did not work otherwise it was wonderful.

The view at the property was awesome. The cleanliness of property was not good, had both ants and knats. The city is very sketchy. This is fine if you plan on just staying at property.

Nice view

We came to work in Clearlake and it was a nice place to decompress. Saw a bald eagle catch a fish in the lake and deer along the drive to the property

Honestly I could see myself living at the property. It was modern, new, clean, comfortable, well appointed, offered incredible views of the lake, and felt remote when in all actuality we were very close to town. We loved fishing off the private pier and being able to bring our golden retriever along! We read reviews about the water smelling like sulfur but we didn’t experience it ourselves. The bed was comfortable, the showers hot, and I’ll be back!

Perfect getaway to relax and take time off - quiet and great view

Everything was amazing!! Starting with the great communication with the host. Having arrived, we found a very well-equipped house (especially the kitchen!) with absolutely everything we needed. The view was spectacular, we loved chilling outside. Thank you so much for this experience, we'll definitely be back another time.

Awesome!!

The views are stunning!!! The house is beautiful and kitchen is well stocked with everything you need including snacks. What a nice touch! We stayed on the deck the entire trip because of the beautiful 180 degree views and the wonderful breeze. Don’t miss the sunrises and sunsets.

Unplugged

The property is a gem. Immaculate and well stocked. Away from the hustle and noise. The views are beatiful and calm. We enjoyed identifying the birds but forgot our binoculars! Our host was helpful getting us settled in. Great stay!
