Totally renovated and unique beach house, located on Carolina Beach. We are PET FRIENDLY with a fully fenced yard. GOLF CART that seats 6, available upon request for a small rental fee. Minutes away from the boardwalk, the beach restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, the state park, the skate park, Good Hops brewery, frisbee golf, arcades, and 2 boat ramps. 10-15 minutes from Fort Fisher, the aquarium and the Kure Beach pier. Fun ferry ride to South Port for the afternoon. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood for peace and quiet yet close enough to all the beach fun! Plenty of parking including parking for your BOAT!

Perfect Holiday Escape

Beautiful home in convenient location. Clean & well furnished, the property was perfect for us, 3 adult children and a small dog. We enjoyed the fenced yard and fire pit as well as proximity to state park, brewery, putt putt & more.

Comfortable stay

This cottage was perfect for myself and another couple. The fenced back yard was ideal for their two dogs. We also appreciated the comfortable living room with lots of seating, its well stocked kitchen, and the convenient location. The State Park, beach, and restaurants were all a short walk away. Communication was exceptionally helpful and responsive.

Second stay here and just as great as the first !

My family and pets stayed here for the second time. I have never rebooked the same home for vacation but this one is perfect and still deserves 10 stars ! The owner is great with communication. My kids loved that it had a golf cart so we didn’t use our personal vehicle much once we arrived. I would stay again ! I love the fenced in yard as well as we had two dogs.

Family weekend at Carolina Beach

The property was a few blocks from the beach, so we had to drive and park. But it's in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of room to walk dogs and ride bikes. Enjoyed our stay.

Responsive Hosts

Even though we had to hunker down during the tropical storm, this house met our needs perfectly. The owners were more than accommodating when we were a bit concerned about the rising water. The house is comfortable and the golf cart was a lifesaver when it came to navigating the flooded streets. This was our 2nd year in the house and we would certainly return.

So good!

This rental is so good! The furniture is comfortable, beds are soft. Linens are great quality. Well stocked with everything we needed. Owner is more than gracious and accommodating. Decor is very nicely done. Nice quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking. Already planning to go back for a week in May.

Nicely renovated home

Home is in nice quiet location. The golf cart rental with parking pass makes going to the boardwalk area shops/restaurants a breeze. Definitely recommend.

Adorable beach house

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the host was very responsive and really enjoyed the proximity to beach and boardwalk. The option to rent the golf cart was a great option, especially since it had a parking pass. We used it to go to the beach during the day and the restaurants in the evening. Highly recommend this cute beach house.

Girls weekend

My daughter, niece and I had such a relaxing trip!! The space was so clean, updated and inviting. Our host was accommodating and communication was great; the option to rent the golf cart allowed us to visit the beach when we wanted with prime parking spots. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Awesome house

The home was so cozy and the decor was beautiful. It was stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the golfcart at such a reasonable price. Literally every single store/restaurant/boardwalk/beach we went to was a mile or less away. Neighborhood was quiet and people there were super friendly. Communication with the owner could not have been better. She was super sweet, helpful, and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this property!

Phenomenal!

This house is perfect. It has everything you could ever need. 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Clean! SPOTLESS! We had a wonderful stay. The hosts thought of everything. We didn’t need the golf cart but how awesome! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Family Vacation rental

We enjoyed staying at Amy’s place with our 2 adult children and their significant others plus our 2 fur babies. The house was beautiful and the golf cart was a huge plus for us. Amy was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns. Our pups love the fenced in back yard and the glass front doors. They would lay and watch out the doors for bunnies and people to walk by. Cannot wait to book again!

We enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this home. It was very clean and convenient to everything. The golf cart was a great asset to this property, we rented it for the full 3 days that we stayed. It made it so much easier to get around. Amy was very friendly and nice and was always there when we needed her, great host. We loved everything about it. Nice , quiet neighborhood. Hope to go back soon.

Great stay in a great area

All the 10 star reviews are on point. Very clean, comfortable home for our family of 6 and our dog. The location couldn’t be better and the kids LOVED riding the golf cart to and fro. Amy was a pleasant host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Great Family Beach week!

Perfect place for our family. Nice quiet neighborhood, but close enuf to the beaches. Pics are spot on, beds super comfy and the house was VERY clean. Amy is a wonderful and friendly host.Fishtales has my strongest recomendation!! Thanks!

Hello, this was me and my husband's first renovation and we are so proud of our accomplishment. This house means so much to us and we look forward to families creating memories at FISHTALES. We have been on Carolina Beach for 12 years and just love so much this laid back, fun and cute island. There is plenty to do without all the insanity of the busier beaches. We are easy going people that enjoy our life and hope that others will come to Pleasure Island and do the same. We also own a restaurant just a few minutes from FISHTALES called POP'S DINER and hope that we see you there. We take pride in everything we do and have worked so hard to build a beautiful house and an outstanding restaurant, so relax, chill out and enjoy your time here.

This house gives off an industrial but beachy vibe. It is cozy and comfortable yet simple with no clutter but has everything you need. It is off the main road enough that you can enjoy peace and quiet, but you are within minutes to all the excitement. It is a great place in the summer with soooo much to do, but believe me the fall, winter and spring offers so much relaxation, parts of the beach to yourself. long crisp walks, no waiting lists at the local restaurants and a bar stool at every bar for your favorite drinks. It is also a quick drive to Myrtle Beach for the day to do some outlet shopping or some mainstream museums, dining and entertainment.

This house has a huge driveway for RV or boat parking. The laundry room has plenty of storage for your fishing poles and anything that you would like to lock up. It also has an industrial length hose so you can wash your boat easily. The firepit is great for those cool crisp nights and is fully fenced foe privacy. The floors are done with epoxy for easy clean up. There are TV's in every room and a boombox for your music. Our neighbors have chickens so don't be shocked if you see them in our yard or driveway. They are curious but not harmful.
