Perfect little two-bedroom cottage with a loft upstairs. Great for families or a romantic getaway. Walking distance to the boardwalk and one block from the beach! Home has emergency phone and two TVs with DVD players, but no internet or cable. House comes with everything you need, including beach supplies (wagon, towels, toys, games). It's a lovely home, which we think you'll enjoy as much as we do!

Beautiful home

This was a perfect place for my family and I for our family vacation ! Only a min walk to the beach easy access to check in and out. Will definitely visit again!

Great place!

This place is so great. The comfy, homey vibe is perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything you need is there, just a short walk to the beach and in a nice quiet residential area but still close to everything. We can't wait to visit again!

Great place to stay at Carolina Beach!

My wife and I spent the weekend here and it was the perfect place. The host was super responsive, and the house is great, super clean, and all the things you need in the kitchen are there. It is a minute walk to the beach, and less than a 5 minute drive to all of the Carolina Beach restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again.

Love staying here.

We have stayed here for probably about 4 or 5 yrs now. It s always been a pleasant experience. This yr I feel like the cleanliness was lacking and we had barely any towels. I messaged the property manager about the lack of propane or charcoal for grills. As I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to supply my own. Never got a response from her. We look forward to this family vacation every yr so I hate to leave a bad review. I would definitely still stay again. We still however enjoyed our stay and had a blast as always.

Super close to the beach!

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and it was great! It’s not the most “modern” home, but it does give that feel like you are visiting your grandparents. If all you care about is spending quality time with your family and being able to walk to the beach in 3 minutes, this is the place for you! Loved the beach cart to help carry all of our chairs/tent. I slept in the back room and bed was super comfy. No complaints from the rest of my fam on beds either. There was some sand around the home when I arrived, but what can you expect. It’s a beach house. Will definitely be coming back!

Cute place but....

We overall enjoyed our stay, although when tried to wash our clothes, the washer would only draw water.When we texted the number to let them know we never heard from anyone and ended up having to go to the laundry mat.

Guys fishing trip

Good location for a fishing trip. Only issue was the TV in livingroom did not work ( ones in bedrooms did). We texted about the problem and was told they would text when on the way to see about it. We never received a text so assume they didn't come. Since it was a fishing trip, we weren't there much so it wasn't a big deal. Overall a very nice, comfortable place with everything needed. Really liked the rustic atmosphere of the place.. Would definitely rent again.

Enjoyed our trip but cleaning crew slacked off

We really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the house overall and the location. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to some really great restaurants. The cart in the shed was very helpful in getting our items to the beach and back home. The outside shower was very nice but possibly adding a curtain around it might add a privacy aspect. This was our first time staying somewhere that did not have wifi but it was a nice way to unplug. We were very disappointed at the cleanliness of the property when we arrived though. The kitchen floor was not swept well and there were many pieces of food and trash underneath the long curtains hanging down. I made the owner aware of this and he offered to send someone out to reclean the floors but at this point I had already done that myself and would have been a waste of time. During our stay I also dropped something and went to look underneath the bed for it and found water bottles and empty chip bags that had not been cleaned up. There was also sand and grit already in the shower when we arrived. The house really was great for our families trip and we definitely would stay again just hope the house would be better cleaned for our stay.

Perfection

In such a fast paced world, when we walked into this little cottage it was exactly what we needed. No internet, no cable, and lots of games, beach and family time! This was one of the best vacations we have had. This little cottage has absolutely everything you could possibly need. While it’s not a five star fancy beach house, it is a perfect beach cottage with all the step into grandma’s house as a child feels!

This beautiful little house is perfect! Short walk to the beach, short drive to Carolina Beach boardwalk, and honestly at a very reasonable rate to be so close to the ocean. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great trip!

We have visited this home for a few years now!

This home never disappoints. We love staying here year after year. This house has everything thing you need. Our family looks forward to staying here each year. I was a little nervous when I saw the property manger changed from our past years . I loved Katherine as well. Tyler didn t disappoint. She was very helpful and efficient. We appreciate Roy lending his house out for other families to enjoy as well as his own.

Wedding vacation

The house was nice. Stove and fridge could use replacing. No wifi wasn't great. Would have liked to know there wasn't wifi before we went. Mattresses were not good. Hard, lumpy and basically back breaking. Upstairs bed was good. I enjoyed the stay. Found a foam mattress topper and used that from day 3 to end of stay. That upstairs futon is in a bad place it's an ankle scraper. Hard to get thru there but after hitting 3 times we remembered to avoid it. All in all its a great little cottage. Was a really good price considering location. I really liked the house.

Perfect location & comfortable

The cottage is as cute and comfortable as can be--wish we could've stayed longer! Sunrise with the beach and sunset over the canal! 5 minutes from the boardwalk and we had the beach mostly all to ourselves! The only awkward but manageable thing is the laundry is out and around in the attached shed... We also wished there was more of a paved path from the exterior shower to the backdoor. It was great!!

Thanksgiving

The pictures don't do it justice. Very nice property. It was perfect for us and plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked and we were able to do lots of cooking. Easy walk to beach and no steps. Wagon, cooler and chairs provided with beach towels. All you need is clothes and food! Would come back anytime!

Cute cottage with amazing location

My husband and I stayed at Katherine’s cottage with our 12 month daughter, and we loved it. It is an amazing location - 1 minute walk to the beach and short drive to everything you need in the town. Katherine was very helpful and great at communicating with us.

Great place for a simple beach vacation

This place had so many amenities which made it very convenient for a stay with 3 small children. Very short and simple walk to the beach. Cute, old charm. The kids loved the loft. Really appreciated having the towels, washer/dryer, beach toys and wagon,etc!
