This was my very first time using a VRBO, and I could not have been happier! The cottage and property were amazing. Everything was perfect, spotless and everything we needed.My husband and I absolutely loved it. We are already hoping to stay here again in the near future!

We are still talking about this treasure and plan to go back. This cozy cottage was pristine and had all we needed plus extensive grounds to explore. The peace was tangible. The host was warm, kind and easy to reach.

This cottage is so peaceful and yet convenient to many activities in the area. A perfect couple getaway, the cottage is bright, airy and spotless.

My husband and I have visited this property multiple times over several years. We enjoy nature and a quiet place to drop a fishing hook! The river frontage is excellent and easily accessible. The large area of land around the cottage is always neatly mowed. The cottage itself is consistently clean and completely comfortable, with some new furniture on this visit. The owner is attentive and responsive. Location is close enough to Elkin for interesting shops and restaurants. Love it!

Loved this little cottage. It was very clean. For such a small place the space was used well and was also tastefully decorated!The kitchen was very well stocked with nice dishes, silverware and nice pots and pans.(Not one pan was seen that had scratched off Teflon or broken handles. That was so very nice!) The acreage was beautiful with 2 ponds and a river running nearby. It was quiet and peaceful. Like a little slice of heaven. Very well maintained! Great spot to rest and relax! We enjoyed it thoroughly and hope to be able to go back again.Joyce, the host, was very friendly and was quick to get back to us when we had questions! Great host!It's less than 30 minutes to Mount Airy!

Host Joyce is great! Available to answer questions by message. This was our second time as guests in the sweet cottage, and we will go again. In addition to fly fishing, we visited two wineries and one antique store. Clean, cozy, easy in and out.
