We had a wonderful stay! The house was easy to find; very clean; comfortable; spacious; internet was pretty good; plenty of space in the driveway; gas stove was easy to use and nice. Communication was great the entire time. We would definitely stay here again!

We're so glad you found us to be able to have easy access to Olde Beau golf course. I was happy to hear you were able to get the rounds in with the fog that also rolled in. Our internet is 250 MBPS fiber coming into the house with Wifi that works well for video streaming, zoom calls and internet use. We rarely have outages and it's a great service overall. We apologize if it didn't work well for you this time. Join us next time you need a retreat in the woods.

We are always happy for a nice review from even nicer guests. Cleaning crew said it was the cleanest dirty house they've seen in a while. Hope the golf outing was also a great experience. Come see us next time you need a golf outing and bring the family along so they can experience some Serenity too.

Steve’s property was delightful. Plenty of everything needed for a comfortable stay. Town is easily accessible and the view is incredible . Would highly recommend!

Our goal is for our guests to experience the mountains in comfort as if they were in their own home. We try to provide all the comforts of home so you won't have to go search for it. It will all be at Serenity. We were happy to offer the flexible check-in and check-out times. We try to offer this flexibility because sometimes you just don't want to wait until the afternoon. Come back and see us next time you need an escape to the mountains.

I highly recommend staying at this beautiful mountain home. The wraparound deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view of the mountains. It was not difficult to find the home especially with the directions proved by our host, Steve. He made sure the home had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. And to those of us who value cleanliness, you will not be disappointed. Steve was also an absolute pleasure to work with as he truly cares that you have a wonderful and relaxing vacation. The reclining sofas were incredibly comfortable, which is often not the case in a vacation home. The TV was also sizable enough to enjoy watching in the evenings. The primary bedroom has a very comfortable mattress and plenty of room for luggage, etc. All in all, Serenity is a very comfortable and relaxing home to stay in near Sparta and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

It's always easy to be the host to the most thoughtful guest making sure the host is comfortable. Suzanne opened communications and conveyed the reason for visiting us in the mountains. Us hosts love to know what our guest plan on doing up in the mountains so we can assist in their planning. I would love to host Suzanne again. There's lots to do in the Sparta area and we hope you come back to explore all there is to do in the mountains.

Our commitment to cleanliness ensures all our guests have the most enjoyable stay. We've been to vacation rentals that were not clean and they were not fun after having to clean up before we can start. Not good. If it isn't clean, we'll send the cleaner out to clean what they missed. I don't want you to clean. So come stay with us again so you won't have to clean.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I think you had the best weather in weeks. Being situated in between several golf courses makes it easy to conduct your own golf tour of northwest North Carolina in a matter of days. Come back and bring the family while you play the rounds.

I can’t say enough great things about both the property and the host. Everything was fantastic. Steve was super to deal with and the property was beautiful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This house is a gem, well appointed, clean and perfect for large family gatherings. The location and views are one of the best I’ve experienced in NC, and we have rented at least 10 properties for our family reunions over the last 15 years. It is located just off the northern section of the BlueRidge Parkway and so close to Stone Mountain State Park which itself is a gem. The additional tables and chairs perfectly accommodated our extended family dinner of 17, it was nice not to have to bring additional chairs and tables to the property.Communication with the property management team was excellent, and smooth Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

The house was very spacious with plenty of seating and very clean. The views were amazing! Steve is a great communicator, very thoughtful, and one of the best hosts I've had.

We love it when our guests share their experiences at Serenity. There are so many things to do in the Sparta area it seems like there's something for everyone. Even the little puppies that join their Humans. They love all the smells in the woods from Bear (yes), Deer, Turkey, chipmunks and yes there are some squirrels running around and some we don't know about. Keep them close though. Who knows when they'll find something to chase. Keep your puppies safe. And please come see us next time you need a retreat in the mountains. There

Thank you for your kind review. We have had several work crews stay with us as we are much cheaper and nicer than any hotel in this area. We were just happy to be able to accommodate you for your week in Sparta. Come back and see us and bring friends and/or family and let them enjoy all there is about Serenity. You may be able to visit the area too since you were working during your stay.

Great Place

Steve is awesome and his home and location are beautiful! This was our second time in 2 years staying there and it is best place available in the area for a large family.

The cabin is beautiful, clean, spacious, the view is absolutely amazing overlooking the blue ridge mountains! Host was fabulous, gave info on activities in the area, loved the rocking chairs on the front deck and fire pit!

Relaxing and Remote location

There are alot of activities to do in the area hiking, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, or just site seeing etc. We also found a few good places to eat in the town of Sparta about 15 mins away.

So glad you found all there is to do in the Sparta area. This up and coming town within 2 hours of Charlotte and Winston Salem offers more and more each year without the crowds of Boone or Ashville. Then don't forget the views from our deck. Please come back and see us and explore more of the area such as the wineries, breweries or antiquing. There's so much to do.
