Pet Friendly - Fenced Yard - No Cleaning Fee

Route 66 Retreat is a newly renovated 2 bed 1 bath with modern amenities while maintaining some of it's 1940's charm. It's the perfect place to stay for any of the nearby wedding venues, a getaway to Six Flags/Hidden Valley, or somewhere to stay while competing in a dog show at Purina Farms.

The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is the spacious feel from the well lit 9.5 foot ceilings and the open concept in the living area. The full kitchen offers almost any cookware you will need and a fridge big enough for your leftovers from any of our great local restaurants. The dining room easily seats 4-5 people as well as the living room with the bar stools at the counter. You'll also notice the cabinet with many board games to choose from.

Each bedroom has a queen bed, night stand, TV, and an area to get ready for the day. They also have large closets for your clothes. The bedroom to the south includes blackout shades. The bathroom is smaller but still fully functional with a tub and shower.

The large wrap around front porch has a propane fire pit and dining table surrounded by party lights if you enjoy sitting outside. The back yard is large enough to enjoy yard games or let your pets and/or children play.

The house is located within walking distance of Pacific's growing downtown area. Get out and enjoy some BBQ, Pizza, Coffee, Sandwiches and more. Be sure to check out the new Cigar Vault and bar as well!

The TVs in the bedrooms are Roku Smart TVs and the TV in the living room has a Roku installed. They will be able to log into your streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube TV, and Amazon Video. We do not currently have Cable.

Entry into the house is a keypad deadbolt. All TV's are set up to link to your personal streaming accounts. Wifi is provided. Door to the basement remains locked. We do have one Ring doorbell camera. There is a railroad track about 4 blocks away which can sometimes be heard. This will be true with any place in Pacific though.

Rental Agreement is provided and required. If not completed, the booking is not complete. If you do not wish to complete it, please do not book.

Great stay

The property was very close to a small park, just as pictured, and had a very easy check in/out process. We definitely enjoyed our stay and the kids loved playing all of the games!

Pacific rental

Older home with a tasteful make-over. Modern appliances and fixtures. My home office that I was visiting was just a few blocks south, so very convenient. I would recommend this home and will probably rent again whenever I'm in town.

Accurate, Easy and Thoughtful

The home was very accurately represented and thoughtfully presented. Communications with owner were very simple and direct. They are intelligent and kind and this showed through with any communication whether it was pre-prepared for all renters or just my one-on-one contact.

This place was great! It was super convenient to Purina farms for us to hit the dog shows everyday. It was well appointed even for our doggies. And was super clean. We will definitely stay here at our next show in gray summit.

Trip to the zoo and six flags

This was the perfect house for a quick getaway with my ten year old and her best friend. They loved having their own room to share. Decor was so cute and the place was spotless and had everything we needed. We especially loved the snacks that were left for us.

Wonderful

We have a dog in end of life so did not want to leave him home for a quick trip to Hidden Valley to ski. We chose this home because it was close to so many things and dog friendly. We were pleasantly surprised that it was so cute, clean, and cozy that we actually felt like it was a vacation. The backyard fence was in great condition and I felt safe letting our pup out not on a leash. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Quaint Home in a quiet neighborhood

We weren't at the home a lot. But my grandsons loved the fenced in backyard. We had dinner on the porch on night. We had everything we needed as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

Cute, clean, quaintly small place near Purina farms. Worked out great with easy access for our dogs. Loved being able to let them out into a yard to relax. Rental home had amenities such as dressing mirror, iron, towels/washcloths and soap. Would not hesitate to rent again. *Side note: the bathroom is small and the sink tiny. All worked out for us, however, if you have more than two adults or kids it might be a squeeze to share a single very tiny bathroom. Also, there isn't a washer or dryer on the premises. Traveled in rain and we were soaked unloading in pouring rain. There was no way to wash/dry small amount of garments. Ultimately it took several days to air dry our travel clothes.*

Family Wedding at Haue Valley
