The home was in great condition. Everything was very clean. The host was responsive. We loved the yard, my dogs sprinted all around in the leaves.

Great little place to relax.

Even tho our trip was cut short with Mother Nature shenanigans. We had a great time here. The host was very responsive and helpful. Will stay here again

Family vacations

Great spot to stay and enjoy St Louis!! Its close to parks such as six flags and the cottage was clean and comfy. Great spot! Shoutout to our contact, she was always attentive and cordial to our needs. Would book again!!

Very nice property

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The place was very clean and welcoming. The host was easy to get a hold of for any questions we had and the property was close to hiking trails and convenient to the city.

Family Holiday Weekend in MO

This is a lovely home and very dog friendly. We all enjoyed our visit here. My dog, especially loved exploring the huge fenced yard. And all the bushes around the perimeter of the yard meant the dog didnt see people or other dogs to bark at. And the beds were very comfortable, so we slept well.

A warm place to stay

This was our second time staying at the cottage and this time turned out to be the weekend of the arctic blast. It was well-stocked, cozy, clean, and warm. The host were great and communicated well.

Purina Farms

3 women stayed here with 3 dogs for 4 nights while attending a dog show at Purina Farms. Property was very pet friendly and secure for the dogs. The home was clean and communication with owners was easy.

Peaceful retreat!

Lovely place

The house was cleaner than any that I have ever stayed in!!! And they thought of everything. It sits by itself and is just a beautiful place!!! I would love to come back in the spring/fall to see all the trees around the property bloomed. Thank you so much!

Cutest Cottage

We were welcomed with a warm house, soothing music, and towel pets on the beds! The cottage is absolutely adorable with hand painted art work and accommodations for Roux(our fur baby). The absolute ONLY thing I could find missing was a cutting board to slice our veges. We 100% will be back.

Prompt attention from hosts was awesome. Location was awesome. Fenced in yard was awesome. My dog thought it was awesome. The cottage is adorable and has everything you need plus is awesome! There are treats for humans and pets which is awesome. Did I mention this place was awesome?!

Super clean and welcoming. there were 3 parties around us over the weekend (two homecoming and one wedding) We heard music and laughter when outside - all calm and quiet inside - it was nice to hear the fun. Nice neighborhood :-) Private and well kept. Thank you !

Our stay at the Twin River Cottage was exactly what I needed after a stretch of busy, stressful workdays. The drive in alone sets the tone—rolling green farmland that immediately helps you slow down and breathe.The cottage has an older charm (which I loved) and is very well maintained. It was incredibly clean, and it’s clear the hosts take pride in creating a cozy, welcoming home-away-from-home.After work each day, I’d sit on the back porch and decompress. At night—true silence, just frogs in the distance. It was exactly the kind of quiet I didn’t realize I needed.The location is also a huge plus—central to multiple state parks and conservation areas. My pup and I love to hike, so we took full advantage. If visiting during wet spring weather, bring extra towels and stay on top of tick prevention. (Given my pup's curious nature, a box of beach towels is always on standby in our vehicle.)The kitchen felt just like home—my favorite space. I enjoyed dinners at the bar and making my morning French press with ease. The cleaning supplies under the sink were appreciated!Check-in/out was seamless, communication was great, and the large laundry room (full-size washer/dryer) is a bonus. The yard is securely fenced—my very curious pup couldn’t find a way out. Just note: after rain, the yard gets muddy (natural creek bed), so plan accordingly.Overall, a peaceful, comfortable, thoughtfully maintained retreat. I would absolutely return!
