Escape to Tahoe and watch the sunset with the whole family in a beautiful house five minute walk to the lake. Featuring panoramic views of Lake Tahoe on every floor, the hot tub, and the deck. Relax with a 77” OLED TV and Dolby Atmos speakers in the entertainment room. Cook delicious food in the kitchen with the sink overlooking the lake. Grill on the deck on top of Lake Tahoe.

Five minute from Zephyr Cove beach, restaurants. Three minute drive to Safeway. 12 minute drive to Heavenly.

Bottom bedroom is a mother in law unit, separate entrance from the house, short ceilings for tall folks.

3. Guests are allowed parking for 4 vehicles only.

Spring break getaway!

This property was amazing with amazing views! Nestled up into the trees on a hill surrounded by trees and a wonderful view of the lake! The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! The first day we arrived it was snowing which made getting up the driveway and bringing in the luggage a little difficult; however, the property manager went above and beyond and came out in the morning and shoveled the drive for us and ensured the heated steps leading up to the property were working to ensure we were able to easily get in and out of the property! Be advised it’s called a treehouse for a reason your be up high so there are a lot of stairs to get up into the house and it’s worth it! The house itself was stocked with all the necessities, nice appliances, great cookware. It made the transition feel like being right at home. My family and I loved this trip and we will definitely be back!

A great place in a beautiful location

This house was exactly as described, and my group and I had a great time! It's very close to the Heavenly ski resort and a bunch of restaurants and activities. The house itself is beautiful and we couldn't get over that view! Definitely take note of needing a 4x4 in the driveway in winter, because the driveway is STEEP!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Pictures and description are misleading. Overall issues with house - 60 stairs to get from driveway to kitchen (we had elders who had to move to a different location because we did not know about the stairs prior); dirty (garbage in cupboard, dirty floors, empty beer cans, spider webs, etc.); sketchy steep driveway; one window AC unit for all of upstairs, which is inadequate to keep the space cool, and no AC in the rooms and downstairs unit (only fans); no screens on deck doors or screens with holes in them; no basics like soap, shampoo in bathrooms; sketchy/wobbly deck; bunk room smaller than described; huge broken branch about to fall on the walkway near hot tub below; crappy shades to keep house cool (huge window shade in family room doesn't close all the way and deck shade is hand crank see through shade that does not block the sun); back door light not working and wiring in back on ground that you can cut yourself on; downstairs unit shower ceilings 5 ft 5 inches so a full grown male cannot stand in shower, and many more issues. And we had no working fridge for one week and MICE in the house getting into our food. Owner had us live out of limited coolers and delivered ice. Owner said he would give us a partial refund when the fridge was not working int the beginning and then nickel-and-dimed me over receipts for spoiled food and cost of ice and gave a very small refund (12%) for one week of inconvenience and mice issue. Do not stay here.

Steep driveway can really only fit 2 cars safely and hard to get out

Stairs up to the house, not counting many stairs inside house to get to main room

Bunk room really only fits 3 comfortably, mice in room next door to this room. No AC in these lower rooms, only fans

Main room with AC unit in far window, inadequate to cool house; very hot in summer bc west facing

Good location but super steep climb !!

Overall we loved the property but wished that the listing clearly stated the 3 flight of very steep stairs for the house . We had a senior in our group and kids as it was extremely hard for us to go up and down the property . Recommend that the pictures show the steep climb so that each family can make an independent decision

Great stay (and honest review)

We really enjoyed our stay here. It gave enough room for everyone, and the common area was large, cozy, and well done. It had great views of the trees and the lake. There were houses around it, but it was secluded enough to feel comfortable, and a close enough drive that we didn’t feel far away. Some things to note: 1) VRBO said we would get checkin instructions 2 days before arrival. That time went by, and I had to email the property manager to get these instructions 2) the driveway is really steep. It could fit 3 cars (and one in the garage) if needed. But that probably isn’t possible without one of them sliding down. On a snowy day, walking up the driveway from the lower portion was treacherous. The top apron was fine though. 3) for noise reasons, time in the hot tub needs to be done by 10pm. Some of our guests would have preferred to stay in later. After a long day, the hot tub did feel good Overall, we would come back again

Tahoe Long Weekend

Great property with a fantastic view of the lake. Plenty of room for our family of five adult children. My oldest son, his wife and daughter (18 mos) had their own room and bathroom. The house was very nice and well appointed. The hot tub worked great! The only criticism we had for the owner is that the grounds were not very well kept. There were lots of pine needles that could have easily been blown off the stairs and areas prior to guests arriving. There is miscellaneous trash - wrapper, beer bottles and such strewn around the property front and back. There was dog poop not picked up in the little fenced off dog area. I hope I don't get blamed for these things as they were there prior to our arrival. Some of the handrails are loose, if it were my property, I would walk it from top to bottom and make a list of handyman items that need to be addressed. For example, the downstairs bathroom shower in the first bedroom doesn't drain, shower handle is loose in the other downstairs bathroom, smoked doobie left in fire pit, lots of spider webs that could have easily been cleaned off. All of these items are not a big deal on their own, but collectively and given what we paid per night, you would think the property would be maintained at a higher level. Oh, and I wouldn't plan on staying here in the winter with snow on the ground. The driveway and corner down to Hwy 50 is treacherous unless you have the right tires and 4x4.

Great house and location. Watch out for the steps up to the house. Icy and steep.

Great house and a great location. The steps are steep and icy. We booked the house based off of location, the view and the amenities. The amenities were not usable, so be aware. The view and location did not disappoint.

This house is just stunning!

This house is just stunning! It was the perfect size for my family during our trip in Tahoe and the lake views were just amazing to wake up to! The property was clean, cozy, and stocked with everything I needed. It’s across the street from a cute, clean little beach which I loved walking over to for a little sun before I left! I can’t wait to stay here again on my next trip!
