MONTREAT ROUND HOUSE - This charming Round House, nestled in the treasured community of Montreat, is just 2 miles from Black Mountain (voted "the prettiest small town in America)" and 17 miles from Asheville!

The unique property, fully renovated in 2022, intersects rustic character with modern flair. Experience MOUNTAIN VIEWS on a wooded lot, from a private wrap around deck. Everything is new, including the hot tub, fire pit, HVAC, bathrooms, furniture, countertops, appliances, paint, fixtures, paved driveway and walkway.

The views were stunning! The check in and checkout were very easy. All bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The host was very communicative and checked on us during our stay. We fully enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful & lovely stay

We so enjoyed our stay in this quiet spot in Montreat. We had everything we needed, it was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. We especially loved the porch and the views.

Our host was polite and communicative and pleasant to deal with. Very nice man. Location was perfect for our weekend away in the NC mountains.

Perfect Oasis

The Round House was the best place to stay for our week at Montreat. It was only a short drive to the conference center and the house had everything we needed. We definitely will be back!

Wonderful Location

Great property, nicely furnished and good space. Montreat and Black Mountain are lovely areas with something for all age groups! Owner is attentive. ( Access to 3 bedrooms downstairs is a tight spiral staircase. )

Very enjoyable

The roundhouse was wonderful for our visit during the holidays- clean, cozy but spacious enough, modern. Kitchen was well supplied as were bathrooms. We cooked several meals for our group of 8 and had no shortage of cookware etc. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed the views out of the many windows. The host was very timely in responses.

Great Mountain Getaway

This was our first time not staying in Asheville proper. A cozy but comfortable round cabin was just right for the six of us. The hot tub was a great bonus. We talked about grilling but never did, but the option is there. It was nice to have the washer and dryer too for our weeks stay. Lots of hiking nearby and a cute downtown area in Black Mountain. Host was good about checking in on us but not obtrusive. Highly recommend!!

. hair dryer was missing, one-bathroom doesn't have electrical outlet.

Besides these small things, which they are important on your vacation, I will say the place was very nice and clean.

Great views, comfy beds

Our stay was wonderful and we really enjoyed it. The views are amazing and the deck was the perfect place to hang out. The kitchen and bathrooms were also good. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of a few amenities. We missed having trashcans and mirrors in the bedrooms. It would have also been nice to have extra blankets and better/more pillows. Two thin pillows on a queen bed were not enough. We would consider staying again! Thank you.
