We always look forward for a trip to the mountains and now we have found the best of the perfect rental in Montreat. A vintage outside with a big surprise inside… all modern, comfortable, and plain good-looking. A creek in the back yard on a level lot and within easy walking (downhill) to the Inn and Huckleberry. We will return.

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming Montreat home! The beautiful porch and gazebo were the perfect spots for drinking morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the creek. What a treat to stay in such a comfortable and relaxing house! We loved our stay!

This was our second stay at the property and we loved it just as much as our first visit. Bill and Margaret are gracious hosts and phenomenal communicators! Five star property and hosts!

Cozy Family Retreat

The perfect spot for a family getaway! Super cozy and conveniently located near hiking trails, picnic spots and Black Mountain. Cozy beds, stocked kitchen and awesome outdoor area with creek in the backyard.

charming cottage - great location

The cottage was cozy and charming. Through the screen doors, you can hear the creek, which we loved! This is an ideal location in Montreat—you can walk out the door and be at Lake Susan in three minutes. It was a wonderful weekend getaway.

Beautiful Montreat Cottage

We loved our time at this cottage. Montreat is a beautiful and peaceful place and this home was perfect for our family. The owners were friendly and very communicative, before, during, and after our stay. We will are looking forward to going back again soon!

Wonderful!

We were in Montreat for a conference. The house is in a lovely setting backing the mountain creek and is very convenient to the conference center. It was very clean, very well maintained, and had top quality amenities. We’re planning to return!

Jones Cottage

My family has enjoyed Montreat annually for what will soon be three decades, and the Jones Cottage has become our place of choice. The location is convenient and delightful with the babbling brook behind the cottage. Its restful living room, the well-equipped kitchen, the spacious veranda and gazebo -- all make for a very pleasant visit that the whole family can enjoy together.

Easter get together

Bills house is perfect for family . It`s right on the creek which was a lot of fun. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable.Bill and his wife were very helpful in answering any questions we had and easy to reach.
