Overall good experience. Description of rental online well represented. Showers could have been cleaner. Downstairs A/C not working on first night but emailed next morning with a quick response and resolution.

Lovely retreat

My wife and three adult children thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One block from the beach, coolingbreezes on the decks, and proximity to Hunting Island State Park made for a quiet week far from crowds.

The house was great for our family of 5 adults and 2 kids. The walk to the beach was short and easy, and there was more to do right on the Harbor Island property than I anticipated. The neighborhood was quiet and the beach wasn’t crowded. It was a perfect week in every way!

Perfect Beach House

We loved this house on Hunting Island. The beach was very close and we loved riding our bikes in the neighborhood. The house was clean, well maintained and we loved the decor. Is was spacious for our group of 6. Hope to book it again.

Wonderful property

Our family of seven (five adults and two children) were very comfortable at 11 Ebbtide Court. We had everything we needed and plenty of room. The kids enjoyed biking to the beach and pool which were also both close enough to walk. I would definitely choose this property again.

Great location

2 families with young adults, and teens. Super easy to get to clean, beautiful beach - just a walk away. Super close to our favorites - Hunting Beach, and Johnson Creek Tavern. We are in most our meals so really appreciated the kitchen. Plenty of towels, bath and beach. Easy check in and simple check out. Friendly, relaxed area. Great stay.

Good location

Overall we enjoyed the property. The throw rugs were dirty and lots of dust and cobwebs (mostly on upper walls and ceiling in kitchen).Better housekeeping would improve the property.

Had we been contacted during your stay with housekeeping issues as stated in the rental agreement we would have been happy to send the cleaning crew back to get to anything they missed. With regards to some additional dust, a deep clean has not yet been performed on this property and there have been back to back rentals all summer. Thank you for your review.

Clean and Comfortable.

Very nice place to stay and relax. Easy communication. As described, no issues. Beach was closer than expected during high tide, easy walk. Nice sunrises and sunsets from lots of porches. Went to Hunting Island state park during low tide. Family really enjoyed it.

Beautiful and spacious house in an amazing community

Walk to be the beach about 5-10 minutes overall. A nicely decorated house. Everything you need. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Spacious numerous patios. Our party of 7 fitted just right.

Great house and location!

This is a great house in a great gated community. Pool is fairly close and very nice! The house is close to the beach and has a lot of amenities. There were not tvs in all the rooms like advertised which was disappointing. It would also be nice to have a golf cart like a lot of the other rentals provide. But all in all great house, great location and our group of 7 all fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay.

Fun and comfort

Beach walk is a lovely home with all of the things you would need for a week’s stay. The one exception was beach chairs which we could not bring on a plane. But the kitchen and linens were fully stocked with anything you might need. A quick trip to a convenient Walmart made a few “stay at home nights” even better. Four retired friends of 50 years would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you to all who helped w this booking. And to the owners…cozy welcoming home!

Wonderful family getaway!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and well appointed home. A short walk to the beach every morning (using the wagon provided) led to swimming or hunting for shells, depending on the tide. We ate breakfast and lunch at the house (the kitchen was very well equipped). We enjoyed the community pool in the evenings. Some nights, we drove in to Beaufort for dinner - other nights we picked up fresh seafood from the Gay Seafood Company and cooked at the house. The large dining table was a great spot to work on a puzzle. And the decks were perfect for evening reading. We loved watching all of the sea birds and other assorted wildlife. And, we appreciated this quiet neighborhood. All in all, this was a wonderful vacation that allowed us to connect as a family in a beautiful setting. Thank you!

Ok stay

Upstairs shower leaked.. no shower curtain liner and doesnt drain well. Sand all in shower. Had big red ants coming from dining room window.(dozens) spider webs in corners of ceilings. Floors were very dusty. Hammock upstairs balcony Rotted. Screen door downstairs screen broken. Recommend tvs in all rooms amd upgraded to fit room size.

This review comes as a surprise due to the fact we received an email from you with two photos of ONE ant after 9 PM, and responded to you the next morning asking questions to see what we could do and we never heard back you - regarding the ant or any of the other issues you listed here. Our staff personally checked the house and neither of the upstairs showers leaked, both had shower curtain liners in them as well. The hammock has been replaced and the screens door has also been repaired. We had guests that departed the day you arrived and the owner was there right after you departed and no one reported any issue whatsoever with any shower or ants or other insects of any kind. Our rental agreement clearly states to inform management right away of any issue so we can resolve it right away. We would have been happy to send someone to resolve anything we could to make your stay better.

Great low country getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The layout was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of space and wonderful porches. Loved the easy access to Hunting Island…we got a week pass and went there pretty much every day for sunrise walks and fun on the beach. Awesome fish market right by the gates also provided some of the best fresh fish and shrimp we have ever eaten. Loved the town of Beaufort too and highly recommend the St. Phillips Island eco-tour!

Great Stay on Harbor Island

Met our needs perfectly! Our family of 4 was very comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed for a week at the beach. The kids loved the easy walk to the beach and they even had sand toys and chairs for us to use. We loved searching for alligators and especially loved being so close to Hunting Island. Thanks for a great week!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

The home was great for our 5 person family the week of Thanksgiving 2021. The open first floor layout was nice, and the kitchen was well stocked for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. The location was convenient to the beach. Really enjoyable, and would return again!

Fantastic Spot

My family and I stayed here in April and really enjoyed our time! I am already planning a trip to come back! (Which should say it all) I had my husband, 2 kids under 5, my parents and sister with her newborn and there was MORE then enough room for everyone. The distance to the beach was incredible! Not only convenient but with little kids it takes a lot of pressure off of having to pack up and commit to an entire day at the beach. There are a few restaurants close by, a tackle shop and ice cream/surf store. Other restaurants, grocery store and retail stores within a 20 min drive. This was the perfect get away for us and I highly recommend it to anyone looking.

Much needed break

This was a lovely property with a wonderfully well stocked kitchen and amazing balconies on both sides of the house with great views. We loved our time at the house and would love to visit again one day.

Loved our VRBO rental!!

We LOVED our VRBO rental at 11 Ebbtide. The location was PERFECT and it definitely had all of the amenities to help with a wonderful vacation. The beach was beautiful. Rent bikes if you can! They were fun to have and provided us with a relaxing way to see the wildlife and nature that lives on the island. We enjoyed the use of both the charcoal and gas grill (although they needed to be cleaned up a bit). The decks were wonderful providing glimpses of the ocean and beautiful marsh views. Again... we LOVED 11 Ebbtide! Our only downside to the trip was due to some the staff working the entrance gate on Harbor Island. They were quite rude at check in! They assured us that if we broke ANY rule while we were there, that we would be fined heavily. This occurred as we arrived to Harbor Island after an 11 hour drive from KY with a 3-yr-old and 18-month-old. Not the best timing to be so rude. They were equally rude, if not ruder, to our older children in the car behind us. We were also disappointed that a private location, such as Harbor Island, would keep their pool and restaurant closed even though S.C. opened the state from lock down. We’re happy to say that those little glitches had minimal impact on a great vacation!
