Wilson, Two Bedroom House in Historic Loveland

As the review states. They did not stay at this house. They screwed up their dates and I was able to accommodate them at another location. The house they stayed in is 100 years old with a river rock foundation. It could smell musty, but again, not this house they wrote a review for. Also, I don't know what they mean by the fridge and dishwasher doors weren't clean because they never said anything to me about anything. The house they stayed at, the washing machine definitely works. I feel like this is an older guest who maybe isn't very savvy. I don't even understand the pillow comment? Just didn't like the pillows? I don't know. 2 stars after accommodating their mistake and they are mistaken about things in their review, seems harsh.

I apologize if things were not up to your standard for your stay. I was at the house immediately after your stay and replaced the couch cover and shower curtain. I already had a conversation with the cleaners about needing to replace them. They don't want to spend the extra 10 minutes, it's very annoying. But we always have extras on hand and can change them out it 10 minutes. Always good to reach out during your stay so we can address issues while you are there. We do rely on Guests to do their dishes. We do check them, but guests need to clean their dishes for other guests. We can not clean all the dishes, pots, pans, silverware and glassware in the house between every guest without charging substantially more. I try to keep my places budget friendly and rely on guest to do 1 simple chore. No stripping the bed, no taking out trash, no doing any wash. All I ask is guests take care of the dishes they dirty. There is no perfect way to monitor this. Trust me, I've been trying to sort it out for 10 years. Everything comes with tradeoffs. A guest left the dog bowl on the porch, I'd never really given it a second thought. I'll get rid of it. Thanks for staying, Seth
