Located just 35 minutes from Denver and a short drive to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater and multiple outdoor excursions & hiking, our cabin offers the perfect combination of convenience, attractions, wildlife & tranquility.
The Space:
INDOORS
Step inside and be greeted by the warm ambiance of the spacious living area, adorned with high pine ceilings and large windows that frame breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. The living room features a comfortable reclining sofa and hammock by the fireplace, inviting you to relax and unwind after a day of exploration.
The kitchen is a hosts & cooks dream, equipped with all the amenities you need and room to spread out! Prepare a delicious meal and gather around the dining table, or take it outdoors to the sun deck where you'll find a gas grill and dining table with LED lit umbrella for those delightful al fresco dining experiences.
OUTDOORS:
The real magic happens outdoors! Take a soak in the hot tub as you revel in the serenity of the mountains or lounge on the sun deck or the covered porch with your favorite book. The cabin features three deck areas, each offering a unique perspective of the stunning views and private and peaceful setting. One for hot tub lounging, one for grilling and dining, and the covered porch for reading, playing games and your morning coffee.
BEDS AND BATHS:
With three bedrooms and two baths, our cabin comfortably accommodates groups of friends or families. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and on suite bathroom. The Queen and twin bunk bed rooms have log walls exposed and wonderful afternoon light. Each bedroom reflects the cozy cabin atmosphere while offering modern comforts.
WILDLIFE OASIS:
Nature lovers are in their element here. Our property is frequented by a variety of wildlife, including a variety of birds, deer, chipmunks, wild turkey, and foxes. Keep your camera handy, as these local residents often make impromptu appearances.

➢ Owners primary residence is the separate unit on the lower level. However we are out of town almost all of the time now for work. We will likely not be in the lower unit during your stay, but if we do overlap a bit you will not see us due to the separate sides of house and COMPLETELY PRIVATE SPACES YOU HAVE.
➢ All areas are accessible except garage and owners private lower level space and lower deck.
➢ The only shared area is the driveway.

Close to Denver and the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater, our cabin serves as a gateway to both urban excitement and natural mountain beauty & activities.

➢4-6 Miles to grocery, restaurants, massages, ski/snowboard and bike rentals and more!

Getting Around:
We recommend renting your own car to enjoy The Bird House! In winter an all wheel drive or 4x4 or car with great snow tires is recommended.
When going to Red Rocks or the Airport arranging alternate transportation there is necessary - Uber and Lyft are ok for the ride back to the house but difficult to get a pick up at the house.
Other Things to Note:
➢ QUIET RETREAT: This cabin is set on a quiet residential street in the mountains. Because of that ***ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC***
➢ WILDFIRE RISK: We are a NON SMOKING & NO FIRE ALLOWED property. If you smoke, inside or outside, do not rent our home.
➢ WILD ANIMALS: We have bears, mountain lions, deer and other wildlife that frequent the area. Keep all food and trash picked up at all times.
**NO PETS ALLOWED**
➢ WELL WATER: The water is safe to drink from the tap and filtered water and ice comes out of the fridge.
➢ TECHNOLOGY LIMITATIONS: We have Starlink Internet – providing the best internet in our area with normal speeds of around 47 Mbps. Yet you can take a break from your devices, you’re in the mountains now! Some cell service providers are spotty, switch to wifi calling if needed. We’ve got books, games, DVDs and the hot tub to enjoy and disconnect during your stay!
Interaction with Guests:
