Great property!

This is our second stay here and hopefully many more times in the future. The house is a little slice of heaven and Darren is so easy to communicate with.

Home away from home

Very comfortable and cozy home with beautiful outdoor spaces. Very private and quiet. The host went over and above by contacting us after our stay to let us know we’d left our jacket, and promptly mailed it back to us. Thanks for your hospitality!

Perfect stay!

Three 70 something’s, high school friends who have an annual reunion usually in Sunriver but a 4th has become a caregiver for her husband recently so we opted to stay in her area so she could be part of our annual catch up. The house was perfect accommodations, exactly as described, comfortable furnishings, well stocked and the backyard was especially perfect for relaxing and visiting. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Delightful home!

It was perfect for our family in attending my nephew’s wedding. Home was so comfortable & the yard was gorgeous! We had everything we needed & would most definitely stay there again. It also was nice being in a cul de sac, as it felt very safe.

Clean, Contemporary, Comfortable Home with Colorful garden

The home was very clean, contemporary, and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing inside by the big front window as well as sitting outside on the back deck reading and enjoying the beautiful gardens. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. Owner was very responsive to any questions.

Outstanding S. Salem Gem

We had some family come into town for 3 weeks and were so grateful to find this property for them. The house is well located within walking distance of the Roth’s on Liberty and immaculate in every way. The host was attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our guests. The house felt like home for our guests and made their trip of a lifetime a huge success that their children will never forget. I will 100% be booking again in the future for out of town guests.

Wonderful venue

This home was perfect! Clean, comfortable, cozy. Beautifully landscaped. Owner was very helpful prior to our arrival! We were fortunate to meet him before we left. Everything was exactly as stated on the site. Location was perfect for us. Portland Airport about 1 hour 15 minutes. We will return if available for our future trip to Salem .

Great stay

Everything was great. We were out most of the time and the salem weather was quite warm during our stay but since the house has central heat and ac and the thermostat was programmed to keep it cool it was refreshing to come home into a nice cool house. The furniture and all furnishings are in great shape so everything was super comfy. Enjoyed the big comfy leather recliner also. Great job Leonardo house!

Perfect!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. It is in a perfect location to explore Willamette Valley…wineries, nature preserves, Silver Falls, Downtown Salem, Riverfront Park. Then you come back and enjoy the lovely outside area. It is perfect for relaxing in the morning and evening. Highly recommend

Sunnyslope Family Gathering

We had quality time with our 3 granddaughters who we haven't seen in a year! The house was perfect for them to lounge around, sleep and do a little running around in the backyard. This place was clean, nicely stocked, comfortable and beautifully decorated ... we felt like it was truly a "vacation" for us all. We were able to share dinners with our son & wife (who were able to get some quiet time while we had our granddaughters). Also had our daughter from Bend come over for a visit too. It was a great family time for us all!

Best rental experience I have ever had.

This was by far & away the best stay I could have asked for. A coworker and I stayed in Darren's residence for roughly 4 months and he is the best landlord/property manager we could have asked for. Darren was always available to answer questions or help us out. The house itself is fantastic. Very comfortable living room, amazing kitchen appliances and amenities, and great bedrooms allowing for privacy from others rooms as well as comfort. If I could live here forever, I would.

Beautiful and Comfy

The house was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. It was clean and felt like home. We wanted for nothing - dishes, pans, utensils and even spices. The host provided information on everything we might need for an enjoyable and safe stay. The yard is beautiful and we enjoyed drinks on the private back deck. If we ever get the chance to be in the area again we will definitely be booking this house again. Darren is a perfect host and his house was more than we expected.

Lovely home in peaceful neighborhood

This airy, spacious and clean home was the perfect place for me and my family to reunion. It was unbelievably clean and comfortable with very wonderful beds, nice towels, great showers and a lovely deck looking out to a landscaped yard. Darren was very helpful and prompt in supplying needed hangers, which we appreciated. Location in south Salem was not too far from downtown and close to Roth’s and Trader Joe’s. When we return to Salem, this is where we will want to stay. Thank you Darren!!

Awesome place!!

This place fit the bill perfectly for our family. Tucked away in a very quiet, well kept neighborhood, minutes from a grocery store and restaurants. We are regulars in the vacation rental space and this is, hands down, the cleanest property we have stayed at. Very well stocked and organized. Most every kitchen appliance one could ask for, a gas range, nice solid pots/pans, good assortment of spices, even large ice cubes for my nightcap! It became a running joke with the wife and I, everything we forgot was readily available. When we come back to to Salem for Family Thanksgiving we'll be staying here.

Immaculate, cozy and convenient

I stayed here with a friend and his wife over a long weekend while in Salem for the Ironman 70.3 triathlon. The property was an easy 15-minute drive from downtown, where the race was held. This place was immaculately clean, and is is one of the most tastefully appointed VRBOs I've ever stayed in. Clearly it wasn't just filled with random furniture and decorations like some are. The back deck was a nice outside sitting area. The landscaping is amazing. The property owner was actually there when I arrived a couple minutes before check in, just making sure everything was in order. He was super nice and helpful. The house book is very well done with lots of tips on places to go around Salem. Totally worth a 5-star rating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Charming Salem Getaway

This home is absolutely charming. The front yard is well maintained and the home is in pristine condition. The decor is well done and provides a peaceful atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in each room. The bathrooms were absolutely spotless and looked fairly new. The kitchen had every amenity you could possibly think of and more. I appreciated the new looking dishes which were very pretty. (It wasn’t your typical beat up looking garage sale items where pans had half the teflon scrapped off). The kids enjoyed some of the board games as well. The backyard backs up to an orchard which was absolutely gorgeous. The shaded deck and chairs provided a nice relaxing area where I actually fell asleep. Stores and fast food places are close by. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Darren the host was really nice and great with communication. I highly recommend this home.

Easy accommodations

Booked for group of volunteers attending a weekend class and received nothing but great communication from the owner. Rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas were well attended to. Would book here again.
