Excellent Experience

Comfortable, clean, nice deck and located within a very short drive to the Saguaro National Park entrance. The hostess was terrific. She met my car as I pulled in, and she was responsive whenever I needed to contact her. If you intend to cook, be aware that there is a fridge and microwave in the "kitchen" area, but no sink or stove. This was not a problem for me, as I mostly at out or had cold food that I brought in (sandwiches, cereal, etc.). I would stay here again without hesitation!

A perfect stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay in this quiet desert retreat. The place was spotless, and we found every amenity we might need for a studio stay. We loved the many seating areas, shared courtyard, and enjoyed watching the birds from the back deck. Frederika is a thoughtful host, and it’s obvious she has made the extra effort to make the studio a comfortable getaway. We loved it so much we ended up booking 2 more stays during our time in Tucson!

Incredible, restful stay!

The cleanliness was impeccable, I own a cleaning company so I tend to be more critical than most. Our host was so kind and friendly, all the special little touches made us feel at home!

In Tuscon for Saguaro

Beautiful property. Very well decorated space with everything you need. Less than five minutes to the East Gate of Saguaro National Park. Frederika is a fantastic host and made our stay great. Would stay again!

Great getaway and solitude

Beautiful casita located at the foothills of the Tucson Mountain Range, right outside of Saguaro National Park. Our hosts, Frederika and Arie did everything to make us feel right at home. We highly recommend that you take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed!

Great location and host

The Damselfly studio was beautiful and the perfect location for our visit to Tucson, Saguaro NP, and Colossal Cave. The studio was exactly as pictured, had many amenities/supplies, and Fredrika and Ari were the most gracious hosts. I could not recommend more!

Could not have been better!

This place is perfect, everything we needed to make our stay in Tucson wonderful. Close to the national parks, beautiful view. Lots of little touches to make the place special. Hostess is beyond fabulous! I have already recommended to friends who have trips planned.

Gem in the Desert

This beautiful casita is a cozy piece of paradise. You can't believe how close you are to civilization when you are looking out over the desert terrain and beautiful mountains. It is a very peaceful place if you don't mind the howling of the coyotes. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit our family. Thank you Fredericka!

Beautifully decorated space which was exceptionally large for a studio. The hostess was supportive without being intrusive. Stayed for a week and wished I could have stayed longer.

Delighted with Damselfly Studio

We had a lovely stay at Damselfly Studio! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. It was better than seen in pictures...you can't capture the peacefulness and serenity of the property. The studio is roomy, with charming decor. Frederika is a fabulous host, great with communication and prompt with any requests. We highly recommend Damselfly for your next stay in Tucson.

Magical Damslefly

We felt like we immersed in nature in this peaceful spot with perfect proximity for visiting Saguaro national park. This cozy space was so clean and bright and we felt right at home for the week we were here. Nothing was overlooked by Frederika for all the special touches. The sunrises and sunsets from this location were spectacular. We had the pleasure of Frederika and Ari’s company for a few sunsets and they quickly felt like old family friends ❤️ Was a perfect base for our mountain bike / road biking holiday. We will be back for sure ! Lorraine & Al 🇨🇦

Beautiful Property

The Damselfly in was georgeous and Frederika was wonderful. My husband and I stayed for our wedding night and Frederika added some special touches for our celebration!

Cozy Tucson hideaway

The damselfly casita is perfect for a couples getaway! Beautiful southwest style decor, coffee, tea, fridge, microwave and everything you need for a weekend away. The spot is also very close to the Fantasy Island Mtb Park, which I would highly recommend checking out! Frederika was very helpful and you can tell really enjoys hosting. Would definitely come back and recommend anyone looking for a beautiful spot in Tucson!

Awesome location and grounds

Frederika was a wonderful host and her hospitality is top notch! She went above and beyond with amenities! Room was very comfortable and we loved the courtyard area. It is ideal as it is so close to the park.

We love Tucson because of its artsy historic downtown, its renowned university and its friendly people with a relaxed atmosphere and refined, hip eateries. The beautiful weather and abundant nature. We had no idea the Sonoran desert could be this beautiful. That's what we like to share with our guests.

We chose this home because of its location on 8 acres on top of a knoll overlooking the Tucson valley. Moreover, because of the casita so beautiful we wanted it for ourselves! ;-)
