Beautiful lake house with something for everyone

This house has amazing views year round! With 3 levels of decks, a fire table, charcoal and gas grill, fire pit, lounge chairs, 2 kayaks, 3 paddle boards, and plenty of swimming space right off the dock, this house really has something for everyone. Close to golfing at TCC, more than corn at Indiana Beach, and plenty of great restaurants nearby! Please note that we do live here most weekends so we do leave some swimsuits, food and toiletries. We do clean between renters.

The cottage was absolutely perfect for what we needed at night (two couples to sleep) and above expectations for what we needed during the day (an outdoor entertainment area with amazing lake access). Craig and Haley were fantastic at communicating with me the entire time. The decks were just phenomenal for enjoying the view, catching up with family, and having a yummy grilled dinner. The location of the cottage on the water made it an 11/10 for everyone as it is in a no-wake zone, so the water is calm, clean, low on boat traffic, and since it is not as deep, a wonderful refreshing temperature! My parents were able to dock their own boat off the dock and we enjoyed kayaking in the calm waters. It was a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay

In town for work was very relaxing to come back to every night clean well kept management is very nice. Would deff go back

Lake stay

We chose to do a lake cabin stay along with Purdue visit . The distance was ok for the day trip. Monticello and Brookston nearby for food or stores.

Lake house

Great location to lake, paddles boards, and kayaks were great. Sleeping for 8 was comfortable. Cleanliness and storage was lacking.

Lovely Taste of the Lake Life

Everything was as advertised. The view was stunning, the home was cozy and had most supplies needed to enjoy a weekend on the lake. The kayaks and the fire table probably got the most use while we were there. My sons enjoyed hours of fishing and discovering the lake. My husband, myself and my sister all spent hours on the deck by the fire just talking. Neighbors all around us were welcoming and friendly. Hosts were readily available for questions/concerns. A much needed rest in a stunning location!

Not cleaned before our arrival. Inaccurate listing

We arrived excited about our stay to open the door to piles of dirty laundry. The couch was patched together with tape, the toilet was covered in hair, the floor was sticky in the kitchen, the bathmat was dirty with grime and what might have been dog poop. The bathroom had not been swept or wiped down and was covered in dust, hair, and dirt. There were 2 packages of moldy food in the fridge. The blankets had not been washed. The pillowcases had dirty marks on them, and the extra bedding was tossed on floor behind. the pull out couch. The listing stated the rental had a futon for sleeping was there was none - only an air mattress. There was dog poop in the driveway (approx 5 piles), and there was dog food stuck to the wall. The hosts were nonchalant about the issues, claimed that they have great property, but finally refunded us after hours on the phone Vrbo and then told us to "go home" at 11:30pm once the issue was finally addressed. We had driven for nearly 3 hours to get there and no where to go. We left at 7am the next morning. Do not recommend. They didn't even bother to clean before we arrived yet told us the cabin was all ready for us to come for our stay.

This property is well maintained. We had some work in the area at CIMC and this was the perfect setup for our needs.

Nice Stay

We stayed for the weekend to visit our daughter who is going to college in the area. Nice house. Comfortable beds. Amazing view of the Tippecanoe River. Would recommend staying here.
