2nd time me and daughter have stayed at Kevin's place. We absolutely love the location, close to everything including our favorite restaurant "Bluebird"! The AC worked great in our loft bedroom and it was need as it was in mid 90s. Shower was nice, great pressure. I made coffee in the morning each day with stuff Kevin has there and i reheated leftovers one morning. Definitely recommend staying here if coming to CDA.

Coeurdalene Getaway

Me and my daughter stayed in the loft, mattress was incredible! Location is amazing, host Kevin made some great restaurant suggestions all of them in walking distance, hit up Bluebird for happy hour!

Quiet home on a happening street

The location of this property is really ideal for someone who wants to explore CDA. Close to some really great food, dessert, and shopping. It was pretty hot when I stayed but the owner was very helpful with installing AC as best he could. Great host to work with and very personable. Would definitely stay again.

Inaccurate website description

While the host did mention in a personal communication that other people might be staying at this location later in the week, the listing did not actually state that this is a shared housing with other people in other rooms or that the host lived there. Therefore this was disorienting. Upon entering I saw that the window screen in the entry way was ripped and blowing in the breeze. The kitchen floor had dirt in various places. There was clutter in the kitchen, living room and eating table. It was a noisy street with cars driving by quite a lot and they could be heard within the house. The host texted me telling me that someone was coming to clean the house while I was going to be there. The loft I was set to stay in was incredibly hot. There were no instructions for how to cool it down. The landscaping was unkept. When the host arrived, we discussed a refund and while I thought we had come to some understanding of that agreement, the email I received regarding the amount of the refund was significantly less than what we had discussed. My suggestion is to be clear and congruent with the listing description and photos with those who are staying there.

Awesome location, great host, poor accommodation

Kevin was very nice and helpful. The location is super amazing, you can walk right downtown to the lake or grab a coffee just around the corner. My son and I stayed here for the weekend. We were in the basement, very dark and the lighting was poor. There was a bed on the floor and one full bed in a separate room. The ductwork hangs pretty low. If you are tall, this is not for you. There is no lock from the entire house down to the basement, so we were in a shared space without security. I felt like the listing was misleading as it said entire house. The person staying upstairs was very nice, however, that was a surprise to me. The house needs quite a bit of updating and work, the yard was overgrown. Even some more lighting would help quite a bit. Not sure if this place is up to code due to the lack of egress in the basement. Luckily, we just needed a place to hang our hat at night. However, this was not a place to hang out beyond that. To finish up my complement sandwich, Kevin was very responsive and the location was ideal. Good parking.
