This house is adorable, well stocked and in a great location. Close to shops, downtown and restaurants. The hosts were lovely, welcoming and communicative. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for our 19th anniversary. The host was excellent in communication and helpful to our needs. That added to our wonderful weekend at the Red Door. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The house was warming and homey feeling. The bed was cozy, and house was clean. Highly recommend this little hideaway.

This property was perfect! Location was great and an easy walk to the marina, shops and restaurants. The place was stocked with everything a person needs. Best of all, the property was spotless and wonderfully furnished. Communication was spot on and directions were flawless. We loved the property and the owners. I wish all VRBO experiences were like this one.

Loved staying at the Red Door Retreat. We chose it for the location, price, and reviews and they were spot on. You have to climb stairs to the bedroom but there is a handrail and it's an easy staircase to use. Perfect for 2 people. Safeway right across the street. The thrift store on the corner and the Marketplace store across the street provide fun, eclectic shopping and it's a short walk or bike ride to downtown. Yard is large and has a fire pit in back. Highly recommend this house.

Great property. Easy parking. Very close to downtown. Grocery store is across the street for any needs. House is very well stocked. Loved the Vinyl Records and Record player. Very clean. Excellent communication with the owner. We would 100% stay there again A

We really enjoyed our stay in Coeur d’Alene at the Red Door Retreat. The house is very clean with every detail well thought out. There was a very thorough and thoughtful guide to the property and neighborhood activities and restaurants. We enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store as well as near by restaurants. John was a great host. He was quick in his communication with us and even accommodated us early. We highly recommend this property for a fun stay in CDA.

Very well appointed and cozy cottage in the beautiful city of couer d’alene. The Red Door Retreat was perfect for our stay and the communication with the owner from great from the start. Highly recommend!

Charming Red Door Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the charming RDR! The home is beautifully renovated, thoughtfully preserving its historic character while offering modern comforts. We especially liked the well-appointed space, lovely backyard, and the easy walk to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the hosts' warm hospitality and would love to return to this special place!

Quaint and well appointed place with attention to detail in the furnishings. Perfect for a couple looking to get away. Convenient to the lake and shops. Came with bikes to explore. John was a great host and communicated well.

I absolutely loved my stay! It was peaceful and so comfortable! Great location for shopping and excursions. I absolutely recommend a stay and hopefully will be able to enjoy it again soon. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Charming house

This is a lovely place to stay. Hosts thought of everything you could possibly want in the house. Nice decor, well thought out amenities. Comfortable bed, bedding and towels. Nice quiet neighborhood and close to town.

Lake Therapy!

Just what the Doctor ordered…we really enjoyed our stay! With the close proximity to the lake and downtown, we happily rode our bikes everywhere! The house was well-appointed and comfortable! Can’t wait to come back!

RDR - a little slice of quaint!

We really enjoyed the stay! the house was perfect for my husband and I for our stay. The location is amazing...so close to everything! The Hosts are really accommodating and thorough, in order to make everything turn-key. We will definately stay here again when we come back! Thank you again John and Karen

Clean, Cute House

We loved this little gem of a home! It's close to downtown and the lake. The king bed was super comfortable with soft linens. The hosts seemed to really care about the experience as every detail was thought of! And, this was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever experienced.

Cute Couples Getaway

We LOVED this little house and how close it was to downtown. The hosts thought of everything from the bathrobes to the bikes to get around town. We didn’t need anything for the house during our stay, communication with the hosts was great and they checked in on us multiple times during our stay to ensure we were satisfied, and everything we wanted to do was within walking or biking distance.

Our stay was very comfortable and remodel of the house was tastefully done. John & Karen added many extra touches that we normally do not see in VRBOs. This especially applied to the well equipped kitchen and bathroom.Great location which provided easy access to restaurants, shops, grocerry stores, biking and walking. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in CDA. Thank you John & Karen for contributing to making our stay a positive one.
