This 3br 2bth sleeps 8! Fully equipped and just 30 seconds from walking over the dunes and on to the beach. Close to restaurants, surf shops etc. Please read our many excllent reviews! Heated oversized spa in backyard allows pool like/spa relaxation after the beach. Roof top deck over looking the Atlantic ocean. Look for off season specials. June and July are Saturday to Saturday 1 week rentals. All other months are flexible.

Tybee is great

The location is great - a one minute walk to a beautiful beach. Hot tub that seats eight and rooftop deck. The cottage is definitely vintage 1940's. The space is a tight fit for 7 adults and a baby but everything you need is there. And the island seafood is hard to beat.

Wish We Could Stay Longer

We would absolutely rent this cottage again. It's close to everything, but it's tucked away and you have privacy, even in the hot tub! There's an outdoor shower, which is just smart. The beach is a short walk, less than two minutes, and even there you aren't overrun with vacationers. The house has all the amenities you'll need to rest and relax. The home owners were quick to respond with any texts or calls. Savannah is 20 minutes away, easy to get to, and worth the drive. There is so much Civil War history to learn. It's easy to move around on the island, we walked a lot! You will be glad you rented this home!

Great location!

This little cottage has everything we needed. It could use a little TLC but the charm and convenience more than makes up for that. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Tybee beach

House was not that clean. Floors, shower curtain, laundry left in dryer . Hot tub was not clean even though he said he added chemicals ( just needed fresh water). Walk to beach was good but over all the place needed cleaning.

Everything you need.

Stay was perfect. Todd was easy to work with and just a nice guy. Plenty of extra chairs and beach gear. He even provided bikes.

Nice place

We really loved the place!! The bugs outside were brutal though. I have so many bites, I just wasn’t expecting that. The mosquitoes and yellow flies were unbearable. Its location is perfect. We were a little disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working. It is usually a great end of the day stress reliever for my husband and me. Jennie and Frank 😊

Awesome house in great location!

This was the perfect house for my family! So convenient to the beach and other amenities…we didn’t drive all weekend! The icing on the cake was the friendliness and responsiveness of the host, Todd. The A/C went out during Memorial Day weekend and the Todd responded immediately. The A/C was fixed before we got home from the beach! I will absolutely stay here again and try any other property hosted by Todd

Cozy, fun little beach cottage

Todd's place is funky little house with great beach access and wonderful extras, like a roof-top deck, a deluxe spa, fire pit, and all of the beach gear you might need, including well-maintained bicycles, a wagon for beach gear, plenty of chairs, and a beach umbrella. The kitchen is basic but completely serviceable (no dishwasher in this vintage galley kitchen). The beds were really comfortable. We were also able to bring our little dog for an extra fee ($100), which we really appreciated. Great character and charm in general, and excellent communication with our conscientious host! We really loved our stay with our two adult sons, who also enjoyed the space. We would return in a heartbeat!

Good place to stay

We had a couple hiccups the first day but the owner was very open with communication and fixed everything immediately. Good place to stay with great views. Had a blast!

Historic 40's beach cottage

The online description and photos are very accurate in depicting the cottage and its location. Short walk to beach and within walking distance of some Tybee businesses. Several comfortable/enjoyable outside areas...side porch, upper deck and back courtyard with hot tub. We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Easy check in and check out. Todd was very cooperative in supplying info before our visit. He was also very helpful and cooperative after our visit in helping recover an item left behind which was much appreciated.

127 steps to the beach

This was our first VRBO experience and Todd made us feel right at home pointing out the best eating places on Tybee island. The house was clean and comfortable. On the roof deck we watch ships come in from the Atlantic Ocean up the Savannah river. Checks out Shirley’s Breakfast at the nearby Dawg house bar. Our little dog lover she walks to the historic fort Screven area.

Perfect

Wonderful place. We had limited rental options as we needed a place with a hot tub and that is pet friendly. This rental ( a three bedroom two bath house, with private yard and beach access) was the same price as the one bed hotels with no privacy outside of your room. This little house was clean and tidy. It is a two minute walk to the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. Everything was perfect.

Birthday party

The cottage was everything we hoped for. Clean, good linens, cozy and comfotable. Great beach chairs and hot tub was perfect. No instructions in cottage pertaining to trash or anything else. Not our first rodeo so we were fine. Felt uneasy that door was unlocked when we got there. Found key outside on deck. Beautiful cottage we would both stay again. Thank you.

The perfect choice!

My family wanted to get together to celebrate a special occasion and it was up to me to find a place to stay. To say it was a success would be an understatement. The house is beautiful but we spend most of our time in the spacious hot tub and telling stories around the fire pit (the wood was purchased from a campground nearby). It a very short walk to the beach and bars, shopping etc. and our host was very communicative if there was anything we needed. It was an incredible stay and we will certainly stay there again for any future visits.

Short get away!

We only had a few days for this getaway and this property was perfect for us! It had everything we needed. A quick trip for some snacks and b’fast food and we were all set. Loved the hot tub! And the quaint and unique beach cottage was steps from the beach! Lovely property and location!!! Just wish we had more time so we could have stayed longer! :)

Daughter Birthday

The property is 2 houses away from a path to the beach and very close to shopping, etc. House is cute, small but good flow for 3/2. Very nice roof deck for great views. With exception to bedding and furnishings, house needs refreshing and deep cleaning. Owner was very responsive as needed.

Relaxing beach cottage

Our first visit to Tybee and we absolutely loved it!! This house is small for our family of 6 but the house has EVERYTHING provided. All kitchen essentials, towels, beach equipment, etc. Location is perfect, everything is in walking distance including the beach. Todd and Christy communicated so well with us, even during hurricane Idalia. They came by the day before to prep the house and checked in on us and the house multiple times. Overall we loved our stay and would love to stay here again!!

We are only a few seconds walk over the dunes and on to the beach. Awesome location. We have 3 restaurants within 1 minute walking. The ice cream, convenient store and liquor store are also across the street. Sugar Shack is right behind us!
