Winding down the Cathedral Vista with many famous photo worthy stops, you arrive at Pyramid Roost, the getaway cottage that sits in walking distance from Crescent Moon Park, where Cathedral Rock meets Oak Creek.
Overlooking Pyramid Rock while soaking in your outdoor private hot tub during sunrise or sunset...doesn't get better than that.
The cottage is brand new...hardwood floors, kitchen, full bath, picture windows, private, fenced, courtyard.
This is a perfect getaway for couples or singles.. quiet, peaceful, YOURS for the enjoying :)
Part of the courtyard is covered and lit by patio lights where the other 1/2 of the yard is left for starlight viewing. One can view the Milky Way from the back yard!
Massage and private yoga is offered on site should you desire setting either up.

Just perfect!

We loved staying here so much! It was the perfect place for my husband and I. It was so clean, and so many nice touches, like the robes and sandals for the hot tub, and fresh pastries. The bed was super comfortable. I always have a hard time sleeping when I'm not at home, but I slept so good here! It's also in a great location. It's near walking trails with beautiful views and so close to so many restaurants. But far enough away and in a quiet neighborhood that it's the perfect escape. The host was very friendly and quick to answer any questions. I was so sad to leave but we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Sedona!

The Roost

The place was perfectly as advertised. Cute little studio style room with views of the surrounding hills and a hot tub perfect for star gazing outside of the light pollution of the city. Would definitely stay again

Absolutely Amazing

I've stayed in several VRBOs and this was my favorite. It was cozy and perfect for the two of us. I loved the hot tub and the gorgeous sunsets that we got to watch. Hiking was pretty much right out the door. We did several hikes that were within walking distance of the house. Red Rock Crossing to Baldwin's Tral to Cathedral Rock, Ridge Trail to Slick Rock Trail, Pyramid Trail to Scorpion Trail to Skywalker trail (this one was amazing), and Old Post to Carrol Canyon (stunning). Communication with host was fantastic. Highly recommend and want to come back.

Clean, quiet perfection

We loved our stay at Pyramid Roost! It was a very clean, updated suite with excellent access to Cathedral Rock and plenty of other trailheads. Kelly was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for the great stay!

50th Birthday vacation

It’s a great space, amazing views. Kelly is so sweet she had pastries and a birthday card on the table when we arrived. We had a small hiccup Saturday night with the screen door lock and she was on it immediately and had it taken care of. Things happen that are out of anyone’s control and they took care of it which was really great. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to friends and family

Great place

Clean, cute, just enough of what I needed with a great location. The hot tub was a welcome amenity after hiking. Kitchen area had all the essentials. Kelly is a great hostess.

Quiet little spot

I was in town for a retreat and did not end up spending a lot of time here, besides sleeping. But it's a cute little place and was certainly comfortable. Learn from my mistake: print out or write down directions to the house. Due to a car issue I ended up arriving after dark, my phone led me to a gate community, and I had no cell service. My husband had to track me from home while texting me directions. It's a really easy drive; it was just pitch black and I couldn't orient myself.

Great location, cozy stay

West Sonoma is amazing, there were 3 hiking trails easily walkable from the cottage (go early and bring lots of h2o). Our stay was comfy and the bed was great, the perfect getaway!

Red Rock Hiking Adventure excellent host, lodging , and massages

We stayed 3 nights while we hiked Sedona and Grand Canyon. Comfy beds, hot tub, great location. Host is also a massage therapist and we scheduled massages mid way through trip and they were fantastic. Super friendly host. Highly recommend and plan on coming back.

Great location

The house was great and in a great location. The only negative that was not clearly disclosed was that there are other people living at the house. This was disappointing especially considering that VRBO advertises that their homes are always private. Other than that, I would highly recommend it, but that is a pretty big deal that should be clearly disclosed.

First time Sedona and Vrbo Users

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pyramid Roost! It was our first time to Sedona; we set out to explore on foot, via bike and Jeep. We therefore especially liked being able to retreat to the hot tub to soothe our aching bodies.

Clean, Cozy and Convenient

Was a great home base for our Sedona trip and Kelly is a wonderful host. This is a no frills place but clean, cozy and convenient--exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay again on a return trip.
