Great location!

This was a gorgeous, clean apartment walking distance to all the fun parts of Salem. Would definitely stay here again if we were in town.

Winter Weekend Getaway

Very cute apartment and building. The host was easy to communicate with and the apartment was clean and well stocked with essentials. The witch museum and commons are right up the block & across the street is a walking path that our dogs loved.

Salem bucket list trip

Great location, adorable apartment

We had a lovely stay in Salem. It was perfect for the pets, plenty of nearby places to walk the dog and a backyard. It was convenient to many of the places we came to Salem to see. Owner was very communicative and helpful. Would stay here again.

Anazing Home in the Heart of Salem

This home was everything I imagined and more. Walkable to all the hot spots of Salem. Clean, comfortable bedding, and a wonderful host with great communication skills. Will be back!

Modern Apartment in Historical House

This modern 2 bedroom unit is in a residential neighborhood in a historical house. A walking trail along the water is right across the street. Shops and restaurants are less than one mile away. The apartment is located on the third floor so you must walk up narrow stairs. The kitchen was well stocked including a Keurig. The beds were very comfortable and although we could hear large trucks on the road in front of the house it did not affect our sleep. The host was very nice and responded to questions very quickly.

Very Quaint and Beautiful

Absolutely enchanting! We recently stayed in Charley’s quaint home in Salem, Massachusetts, and it exceeded every expectation. The location was perfect, putting us within walking distance of historic sites, witch museums, charming shops, and incredible dining options. Every corner of the town felt infused with history and magic, and this home was the ideal base to soak it all in. The property itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, blending New England charm with modern comforts. From the cozy, comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, the hosts thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. We loved the Halloween-themed decor and tasteful nods to Salem’s spooky heritage, making it feel like we were truly part of the town’s unique vibe. Our host was phenomenal, providing local recommendations and even checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed peaceful mornings on the porch and unwinding in the evening with a glass of wine after a day exploring haunted sites and scenic waterfronts. If you’re planning a trip to Salem, this property is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to come back and experience more of Salem’s magical allure from this wonderful home away from home. Highly recommend!

A perfect place to stay for our elopement

After a previous visit to Salem from Boston, my partner and I decided to return and elope, this time wanting to stay in Salem. Charlie’s place was absolutely perfect - central location, all the decor, the amenities - everything was spot on. It was walking distance to everything you’d need in Salem yet enough space from the high street to explore the local area, including a short walk to Salem willows. Coffee time bake shop just up the road was also great for breakfast. Charlie was really helpful and responsive and there were so many nice touches throughout the apartment. We’d 100% stay again- infact we’d live there in a heartbeat!

Outstanding stay - beware those stairs though!

This was the most comfortable and well appointed vacation rental I've ever stayed in. It was truly clean, which I have seldom found to be the case with pet-friendly locations. The host provided excellent communication right from the start. Check in/out was easy. The beds were comfortable. There were sensible amenities like umbrellas, flashlights, and fully stocked kitchen staples. Adorable seasonal decorations. The location is great for a walking tour of Salem. The whole place gave me joy! Note however: while I understood this was a loft apartment and expected stairs, I'm not familiar with the style of these buildings so I didn't realize how narrow and steep this stairway would be. It was very difficult for my mom, and thankfully I'm pretty strong so I was able to carry our luggage, but it wasn't easy. That being said, *I* would definitely stay here again, but not with someone with mobility issues.

Beautiful 2 bedroom flat - Fabulous spot super cute & clean!

The host Charley was great, loved the guide, very responsive. A super cute in great location, near the water and walking distance to all the Salem museums and shops. Loved the kitchen, well stocked with condiments & staples. The bedrooms were perfect and so was the seasonal decor. It was our first time in Salem and Charley's guidebook had restaurants and tours etc which made it easy to decide on things to do. We had a lovely stay! Thanks so much. We would definitely recommend this place to our family & friends & anyone looking for a cute, clean place and good location. Ziggy & Sons donuts was on the corner nearby and we had donuts and coffee there on our two mornings there. Thanks Charley we had a lovely stay!

"Charming Rental in Prime Location, but Challenging for Mobility and Small Pets"

The rental is in a prime location, offering convenient access to numerous attractions, which truly enhances the stay. The home itself is clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere. However, the stairs are quite steep and narrow, posing a challenge for anyone with hip or knee issues, as I experienced. While the host is friendly and very responsive, it's worth noting that they monitor the property via a contactless Ring camera, which may feel a bit intrusive to some. We stayed with our pets, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for those with small dogs or young children with strollers, as navigating the stairs could be difficult for them. Overall, it's a pleasant stay, but with some caveats for those with mobility concerns.

Wonderful stay!

We had lovely time at the rental and enjoyed all the amenities. It was a short walk to Essex st and restaurants and a beautiful park. We are so happy to have had such a good experience!

Great Spot

Great clean apartment in a walkable town. Parking was very easy and it was a great place to explore all Salem had to offer. Host was beyond accommodating and pleasant.

Cute, Clean and Comfy!

The property is very clean and well maintained. It's very cute & comfy and was the perfect space for 4 adults - we had everything we needed! Location is fantastic for exploring Salem! Check in was easy, and the host is great! Communication was prompt and helpful to our stay. Definitely recommend!

At the beginning of 2022, I left my cubicle job to move to Salem and start a new remote sales position. Both turned out to be amazing decisions.

In the summer you can find me on the beach soaking up the sun, camping with friends/family, or biking through the streets of Salem. For the winter, you'll find me either up north snowboarding or somewhere warmer whenever I get the chance.
