We were looking for a cabin/cottage in the woods and that is what we got, beautiful color change on leaves a cabin with wood paneling on floors and walls. Perfect! A golf course right at my front door, fire pit, fireplace that needs work but I feel confident Mark will repair it We saw at least 50 deer on our evening walks and a bear while golfing. The lake was beautiful as well. Aghort drive for good food and central location to other attractions.

Wow! Mark thought of everything to make us feel at home. The property was lovely and well cared for, as well as close to restaurants, groceries, etc., and beautiful hiking at Hickory Run. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch for meals and games. We saw MANY deer on the property, which the kids loved, but no bears. Highly recommend this property!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Whitney Cottage. The only suggestions I would make is that we would have liked curtains, considering there were some young people wandering the neighborhood outside the house one night and the fan in the master bedroom needs to secured better. It wobbles too much. Other than that, we were very happy and plan to come back.

Hi Jim, Thank you so much for your thoughtful review—I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay at Whitney Cottage! I appreciate your suggestion about the curtains and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. That kind of feedback is incredibly helpful, and I'm already looking into addressing both to make sure everything feels as comfortable and secure as possible for our guests. It means a lot to hear that you were happy overall, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime. I’m looking forward to your next visit! Warmly, Mark
