Peaceful 3 Story Log Cabin Chalet w/Hot Tub

This is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath,
3 story log cabin chalet. Located in a quiet culdesac bordering the Chugach Forest. Close to fishing, hiking, biking, cross country and downhill skiing. Located one mile from the day lodge and base of the mountain. Enjoy amazing restaurants, cafés, galleries and brewery.
Our chalet has every thing you need. The down stairs is the TV room with two spacious sofa sleepers, laundry room, second bathroom and work space. The second floor is the main entrance with a full kitchen, living room, main bathroom and beautiful sunroom that can be utilized in the summer. The third floor has two bedrooms, one over looking the back yard and the second bedroom overlooks the front yard and has a private balcony. Enjoy during the winter or the summer months. Time on the mountain is enjoyed year-round. Winter skiing is everywhere. Come play on amazing Nordic ski trails or breathtaking mountain slopes.
To avoid any surprises, please be aware of your surroundings outside. You may see wild animals. We have security cameras on the exterior of the chalet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in the best location, near hiking trails and places to fuel up, get ice and quick lunches or dinners. The beds were comfy, the place was super clean and organized! We noticed the time and effort that the owners put into making the home feel warm and inviting, from the coffee, coffee creamer, laundry pods, to the nice towels in the bathrooms to the sheets and pillows on the beds. Our grandson loved having the basement all to himself!

We had an amazing time in Alaska, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and we absolutely loved staying at this beautiful chalet. The host thought of everything to make guests comfortable and communication was fantastic! The sunroom was my favorite. You can sit out there anytime of the day. The hot tub is also a plus! Location is perfect, secluded enough for privacy but also close enough for shopping and dining. I highly recommend this place!

Place is absolutely perfect, exactly as described but better!!! Locations is perfect and very well set up for a perfect ski get away. Sitting in the hot tub and seeing the northern lights topped it off for us!!!

We had an amazing time. The chalet was outfitted with everything we needed and more! Hot tub was delightful! Beds were comfortable. Easy communication with the hosts. The kitchen was perfect for breakfasts in! Great location. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the hot tub was a hit. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Awesome Place

Love the entire place. Hit everything we wanted and the hot tub was just wonderful. We appreciate all the work that went into making it a great stay...we'll be back for next year's fishing trip to Whittier!

Charming cabin in Girdwood

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was peaceful and very comfortable, with everything we needed and in a great location. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and being able to take a hike right from the cabin.

This is a wonderful chalet in a convenient location. It is very clean and nicely decorated. We appreciate how well equipped the kitchen is—it has very good pots and pans. We highly recommend it for anyone traveling to this area.

The cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Location was within walking distance (with walking paths) to downtown. Host gave lots of recommendations and info on local restaurants and things to do! Our girls loved the downstairs area and the hot tub!

I don’t think I’ve ever loved a space more than this cabin. It was the PERFECT stay! The view of the cabin alone immediately put us in the Alaska mindset, but the views from the back and the hot tub were next level. The hot tub was the perfect touch and truly made this feel like the quintessential Alaskan getaway.The location was also wonderful — it was easy to access with our rental car and conveniently located right next to a paved bike path, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable.This was the kind of space where you could tell the owner has stayed there and truly enjoys it themselves. The host thought of everything, down to the smallest details, to make guests feel comfortable and at home. I honestly could have moved here and called this place home.The upstairs beds were so comfortable that we melted right into them after long days of exploring. We absolutely loved having two full bathrooms, and the washer/dryer was perfect for a quick laundry refresh in the middle of our trip. The covered back porch was so inviting, and the little fireplace stove on the lower level made the space feel warm and incredibly cozy.The host also thoughtfully provided a wonderful selection of coffee, along with sugar and creamer, which was such a nice touch. This cabin was everything we hoped for and more, and we would absolutely stay here again. In fact, we will plan our next Alaska vacation around staying in this cabin again!

Great Girdwood Getaway

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The location is perfect to explore around Girdwood. The host was quick and responsive and worked with us to stay an extra day. Would highly recommend this cabin.
