We are located in historic downtown New Iberia LA! Beautiful fully restored historic home with all modern amenities! Featuring Fire place, King bed, Firepit! A short walk to the train depot! You will enjoy the toot toot of the train as it passes! We are walking distance to Shadows On The Teche, Main Street and the Bayou Teche! Walk one of the oldest cemetery's in New Iberia, located directly behind us!

We LOVED our stay here. The decor and space was so inviting and intriguing all around. The beds were SO comfortable, even better than ours at home. I have 2 VERY small suggestions to make it perfect. A full-sized ironing board and a few hooks in the laundry room for hanging freshly ironed or laundered clothes. I missed not having this while garment prepping for wedding. Otherwise Perfect.

Wonderful house with a lot of unique touches! Very clean and comfortable. Everything you could want and more. The beds were the most comfortable of any place I have ever stayed! We will be looking forward to coming back and staying again!

The house was beautiful, fully equipped, and perfectly clean! Every room has many elegant decorative pleasures for your eyes. I am confident we would have noticed more beautiful and/or “quirky” delights everyday if we had stayed for weeks!

Avery Island tour

We had a wonderful time and the accomodations were top shelf!! We would stay again in a heart beat. Hosts were very accomodating.

a house of beautiful art and treasures

From the moment we entered were in love with our surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful art all around us. It was like 4 nights of living in a very cozy museum. Great experience not only for us, but for our grandchildren...Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Acadian adventure

The house is a gem. Each room has it's own personality. Antiques abound. I cannot express how delightful this house was. Best Vrbo rental we have had yet.

Beautiful home

Amazing home. Had a hard time figuring out which rooms to hang out in the most. Love the trains at night. Excellent host, very thoughtful. The accomodations were wunderbar!

Historic Home in New Iberia

This hundred year-old home has been carefully remodeled into a beautiful experience with 21st century comforts. Easy walking distance one street over to restaurants and shops.

Once again, did not disappoint. I’ve been here twice and still have not seen all the stuff in this house. It is very comfortable and relaxing in the evenings. Lots of small things that keep you looking around and finding new stuff. Will stay here anytime. Love this place

Delightful home!

we were wowed by this lovely, unique home! It was comfortable with all of the finest finishes. It's charm not only as a historic house but also how it was decorated and furnished made it the perfect place to stay!!

One week stay

I came to town for work for a week and decided to stay here instead of a hotel. The house was well stocked, especially the kitchen. An intresting place to stay. Nice and clean and good communicating from the owners. The train line out the back is a little loud, but that would be the case staying anywhere in town. Really enjoyed the stay and would go back.
