Country living in Saint Martinville one of the Richest cultures of SW Louisiana

Country living with the space and perfect location for the outdoor person. House built in 1940’s and renovated recently. Centered in Cajun country with several historical sites close. There are plenty of fishing, camping and rv parks close. The property is monitored by security system and has one is in the kitchen that monitors the back door and another in the family room downstairs above the TV that monitors 3 doors but both cameras are unplugged while guest are staying at the property. The outside of the property is monitored as well and are always on to monitor the perimeter of the house.

This property worked out beautifully for a nearly month long stay. Hosts were wonderfully attentive, and quick to respond to any questions we had! Home was beautifully appointed, beds were very comfortable, and kitchen offered all we needed. Neighborhood was peaceful and quite. We rented this home while working a job at Iberia Port. We will most definitely book again if we have another job in the area!

Great Location for Visiting the Area

We had an enjoyable stay. The house is located in a clean, safe neighborhood, and served as an excellent home base for our travels in the surrounding area. The house was well stocked and nicely decorated. The host was very prompt in communicating with us about any issues. We would be open to booking another stay in the future and would recommend this property to others.

Lovely house

Our stay was wonderful. Especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons and evenings. We were privileged to meet a gentleman who grew up in the house and he gave us a great history of the house and his family. Conveniently located for what we wanted to do, eating local food and doing a driving tour of this section of Louisiana.

Our family of 10 used the home as just a stop over for 1 night on a road trip. The home is exactly as advertised and the host was very helpful and responsive. There was plenty of room for our 6 adults and 4 children (ages 1,2,3 & 6).Things to know, but not a reflection of the home or host:1. This is an old home. If you don't like creaky floors or any of the other things that come with an older home, this isn't the place for you. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated nicely and have a more modern feel.2. This is southern Louisiana. While the yard is expansive and absolutely gorgeous the mosquitoes will carry you away! Be prepared with plenty of bug spray if you want to spend time outside.3. This is a small town. You will not find any chain restaurants or a WalMart or things like that. There are a few fast food places in town though.Would recommend and would stay again. Can't say enough good things about how helpful and kind the host was!

I lived across the street when I was 12 years old. Very familiar with the area. My family and I had a great time. This house was my cousins house. Anthony and Margaret Randazzo’s house. It was clean and cozy. Will recommend it to friends and family.

Nice Home

The house was very nice. Spacious and charming. A real gem of a property. The only negative thing i could say is there is no king bed in the downstairs master bedroom. We specifically looked for a king bed for my husband and I so that was disappointing but we made do just fine as there were plenty of beds in the house.

Family Gathering

We had plenty of room to have our family gathering. Love the outside area. Plenty of yard for kids to play in. Also lots of room inside the house. Wonderful Hosts Debbie and Joe.

Nice Property - VERY Disappointed in Property Owner

1. Owner has wireless internet based cameras inside home. 2. Property Owner trying to charge for cleaning for having my Service Dog which is specifically prohibited by the ADA of 1990. 3. Property Owner is alleging damages that we do not agree with and did not happen. If any damage would have occurred, we have insurance coverage but there was NO DAMAGE.

There was damage and claim has been started. The damage was to the bed in bedroom 1 downstairs. The camera are there for security while no guest are in the house and unplugged while guest are in the house. Wasn't aware of a service dog or any double amputee, While no pet rule was set on the property. No mention of it but was informed by my cleaning crew that there was dog hair in the bed and on the couch where the guest mentioned that the dog is trained to not climb up on.
