Common area backyard with fire pit and horse shoe pit- plenty of room to roam and spread out! **Please note that this is a VALUE property. While we strive to provide a clean, comfortable place to enjoy your stay, we are not a luxury property.** House is located close to all the very best Boise has to offer! 10 min to downtown, close to foothills and Boise River/Greenbelt. Walking distance to a local coffee roaster, Caffeina. Neighborhood has a great family park only 0.7 miles away.

When we arrived the toliet was clogged. We had to work a plunger for 15 min to clear the clog.

This property was in a perfect location for hiking around Boise. It is also in a very nice neighborhood. Some great features were the driveway to park in and the washer and dryer. It was very nice to have a full kitchen including a dishwasher, and we used the kitchen extensively. One thing to know that I missed before booking is that the unit has wall style a/c in the dining room and one of the bedrooms. This was not a problem at all for us and the unit stayed cool.

The home had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and all info needed was well communicated prior to arrival. Located in a quiet neighborhood and we were close to restaurants and grocery stores. It was a short drive to BSU and downtown.

Very nice and clean. Loved how close it was to Downtown Boise and everything else.

We were there for a special event at the Idaho Central Arena and would definitely book again.

The unit was clean. Kitchen supplies and utensils were just adequate. Drip coffee maker was 1/2 size. Kitchen sink handle would not stay shut off, so it had an elastic hair ring on it to keep the handle shut off. Mostly concrete floors. Kitchen table had rough edges with splinters. Kitchen chairs were metal, (like outdoor chairs,) and too low for the table height. Bed frames had plywood showing at the corners under the bedspread. Mattresses/bedding were comfortable. Bath towels provided were bleach stained. The unit is part of a duplex. Our second night, we arrived to find 2 U-haul trailers and five chopper motorcycles blocking the entire driveway including our spot, and 2 vehicles occupying the street front parking, so we had to park across the street. At 10:30 pm the other guests revved up their choppers loudly and roared off, returning after 1:30am, entered their unit loudly talking and bumping the walls for approximately an hour, waking us and keeping us up. The host said she'd reach out to them but the exact same thing happened the next night. Host contacted VRBO who contacted them about the noise violations, which stopped after that. Owner refused to compensate for our sleepless nights and anxiety. Monday morning the owner came at 9:45 with a leaf blower outside the front door and windows, (air coming under the door,) then mowing the back lawn. Inconsiderate given all we'd been subjected to prior to that. Really clueless.

Ed was very high maintenance. I followed VRBO’s policies. I alerted the guests that the neighbor was complaining of noise as soon as Ed messaged me about it. When it happened again I called VRBO and had them contact the guest. While I was doing my best to enforce quiet hours, I can not control adults who want to leave at 10pm and return at 1am. Nor can I control their choice of transportation. As for the leaf blower, maintenance came at 10am and mowed the lawn (as they do once a week) and cleaned off the patio. Ed came outside and was very confrontational. He claimed they did not have “permission” to do routine maintenance. We would not welcome Ed back nor would we recommend him to other hosts. He made his time with us and the other guests’ time with us way more stressful than necessary. My advice to Ed is to book a single family home or a home in the country next time. Our listing clearly states it is a duplex with shared spaces.

Concur with vrbo advertisement that this home is among best price for 2BR/2BA home. It was clean and nicely warmed when we arrived. All basic amenities were available.I would call this home solid and rustic. I would call, Katie (vrbo manager), cheerful. The home almost has a camp-like feel with veneered wood counters and simple dining room chairs.We enjoyed our stay and would return if hadn’t just bought a home in Boise.

Came to Boise for our daughter’s orientation. Katie was so easy to communicate with. She gave us a ton of local restaurant recommendations and things to do. House was clean and a convenient location for what we needed to do.

Cozy spot

The duplex was a perfect spot to stay while visiting Boise. Location was great, not far from downtown, and a quick drive to the greenbelt. The unit was clean and well stocked. Beds and furniture were comfortable. I would book again.
