Wow, Heather, listing clearly states attached laundry room is only available for stays OVER one week. You asked for an exception. I gave it to you. Even though all of the cabins were completely full with other families celebrating the holidays and housekeeping staff having to clean and run laundry on Christmas and New Year’s. I declined your request to make the housekeepers come early and lock them into a “no laundry timeslot” for you when they were already working instead of being with their families on the holidays. Main housekeeper left the laundry room unlocked for you to get in at anytime overnight or the next day as soon as they were done for the day. I celebrated the holiday with my family overnight, and woke up surprised to multiple messages from you demanding an access code or “timeslot.“ I asked you if you had checked the door which was supposed to be left unlocked for you. It was a simple question, not a screaming at you. (Your Messages had a lot of “??!!” and mine just asked you if you had checked the door since I couldn’t tell if the housekeeper had forgotten to leave it unlocked as a favor to you even during all the busy-ness of the holiday no vacancy times.) She had not forgotten you. Now you leave this review. I regret making an exception for you. I’m guessing you didn’t leave an extra thank you gratuity for the housekeepers either in addition to leaving her with extra holiday mess from your family.

I just found this review, parked here unexpectedly. V RBO had told me the inaccurate and retaliatory review would not be posted. Those pictures are not from our property. When these Guests first reported seeing a mouse and mouse droppings, I personally asked for pictures repeatedly without response. I also sent an exterminator, a maintenance man with traps, and housekeeping crew to sanitize and clean. I received 20 pictures from multiple professionals showing me there was no evidence of any kind of infestation. Meanwhile, these guests had five guests more than their booking number, trashed the hot tub, barbecue, and kitchen. So the pictures that came from the professionals showed how many different areas the extra large party had enjoyed prior to trying to extort a full refund. And then they threatened a negative review if I did not refund their full rental amount immediately and without pictures. Even if these blurry images pictures now provided were showing something bad and could be identified as being from our Property, why wouldn’t they have shown them to me in response to my repeated requests when none of the professionals who drove to be on site within hours of guest complaint could find any evidence of what they had been complaining about? They cost us significant money and inconvenience, attempted extortion (if they thought it was so bad why would they agree to not warn others only if we paid them??) and now they are attempting to hurt our reputation in retaliation for my refusal to pay them. I would not rent to these people again and do not recommend anyone rent to them.
