Fantastic and quiet location with great access to the lake as well as within driving distance of both Alexandria, Little Falls, and Brainerd, this is an ideal location and excellent place to stay.

House was very clean and had that log cabin feel but with modern amenities. We had everything we needed for a long Labor Day weekend. Went fishing on the lake and caught some bass, sunnies and perch. Quiet lake with lots of opportunities to be in nature. We didn’t use the fire pits but they were fully stocked and ready to enjoy a fire by the lake. Would stay again!

Lake Beauty

We really enjoyed our stay. Cozy, clean, and lots of room. The view is beautiful and it is very peaceful there.

Wonderful Weekend Away

We stayed at this beautiful home in early august and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful, secluded in a quiet place, absolutely spotless, and the hosts were wonderful! 10/10 recommended!

Let me be clear...this is a wonderful place! It has a small and cozy cabin feel, but still had plenty of room for everyone! We ended up taking family photos in the back yard because of its beautiful landscape and fall colors. Host was great! She was very accommodating to us as we traveled in from overseas. The whole family loved it! We will be back and we highly recommend you book this for a stay!

A Breathtaking Retreat!

Nice Quiet Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 of our children’s friends. The yard in the back is big enough for games or to just hang out. The lake is not super busy, so it is really quiet.

Great Place - Great time!

My family was getting together at another location for a reunion and I was luckily able to get this VRBO for my immediate family to stay. From check-in to check-out, it was a great experience. Everyone enjoyed viewing and sitting by the lake in our down time and a friendly gold cat came to visit in the evernings. Thanks again for the hospitality!!

Great Quiet Getaway!

We looked for a cabin to stay at on a smaller lake to avoid big lake traffic during the stay. Beauty Lake was quiet and great for fishing and cruising around on a kayak. The cabin was great. Rooms were laid out well, my son enjoyed the loft and our family really enjoyed the main floor layout and deck for hanging out. Definitely would go back again.

Perfection!

Clean, quiet and lots of extras! Great space to hang out, make meals, catch a bass and have a campfire. You will not be disappointed. Hosts do an excellent of job of providing all the fun and comforts of a home away from home!

Solitude and Relaxation

A lovely home. So very peaceful and incredibly relaxing. Jill was a wonderful and very helpful host. The home was spotless and very well appointed. We all enjoyed our stay, especially the peace provided by the beautiful cabin and the remote location. Definitely a place worthy of many return trips.

Family Vacation

We picked this home for our annual getaway with my family - parents, siblings, and kids - and we weren't disappointed! The home was well stocked and in a very quiet area that allowed for a lot of relaxation. We fished off the dock, watched wildlife, played games, and just enjoyed being together. Both Little Falls and Long Prairie were close enough to allow trips to shop and eat. We had a great time!

Gem!

What a wonderful place to stay for a three day weekend! Quiet, clean and everything we needed for a quick vacation away from the hustle and bustle. Kitchen is perfectly stocked, beds are comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. We even saw deer, wild turkeys, and pheasants. We will absolutely be back again! Thank you for everything, Jill!

Beautiful stay

Our stay at this lake cabin home was absolutely beautiful! The house was spotless and roomy. Host were on hand if we has any issues. Well stocked cupboards, plus having softer water that doesn't smell like sulfur was a pleasant surprise. Beds were great, we all slept SO well. We wanted piece and quiet and this lake home fit the bill.

Beautiful home on Beauty Lake

We immensely enjoyed our stay! If I could give this a 10 star I would! Beautiful home very clean, modern, spacious, so well stocked with all you would need including family games! Beautiful view of Beauty lake and landscaping of the home. We enjoyed the paddle boat, fire pit and swing! Loved seeing the wildlife deer, turkeys, pheasants and loons! Host’s very accommodating and helpful! We plan to come back again!😀

Family Trip

We came to Sauk Centre to attend my father-in-law’s funeral. We discovered Beauty Bay to be close by and accommodating to our group size. When we arrived we were absolutely thrilled to see how gorgeous the house and property was. All the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the living areas were the perfect size for us to all hang out and play games or do puzzles. It was such a great relaxing place. None of us wanted to leave and we plan on coming back when there is snow. Jill and Jim were so hospitable! They provided us with everything we could ever need and even brought us over a cooler to borrow at a last minute request. We enjoyed the paddle boat, kayaks, wooden swing and the serene beauty of the property. Thank you for a great stay!

Beyond expectations

While few properties look as good in-person as they do in pictures -- Beauty Bay may actually be BETTER in-person. So wonderfully appointed and equipped with all the little things you would provide in your own home (especially in the kitchen). Closets are convenient, bathrooms are spacious, beds were wonderful, and each bedroom feels like its own cozy getaway. Everything was sparkling clean! The scene out over the lake is fantastic, the birds are busy, and morning sunshine combined for a fabulous morning (and evening) view. Since it snowed and was then wet and slushy outside during our stay, the nicely-paved driveway and the neighbor who came over to clear it -- made it so much easier to get in and out. Hosts were attentive and so accommodating. The no-key entry system is secure and convenient. It was tough to leave, and we honestly hope to have the chance to return.

Everything was just as described!!! The host was quick to respond and a pleasure to chat with. We arrived for a long weekend (Friday-Monday) and our only complaint is that our visit was much too short! The cabin is very comfortable, clean, well stocked and has a beautiful view!! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds chase each other. There was definitely a dominant one that guarded the feeder! :-) Our daughter used the kayaks and caught her new personal best largemouth bass at 4 pounds 5 ounces!! My dad caught a 7 pound northern and everyone else that fished caught some every time they went out!! We fished..caught enough the first day for our fish fry and released everything else, relaxed, laughed around the tabletop fire and thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Beauty Lake at this beautiful home!! The only coveat I would add is that there are quite a few steps down to the dock. They are nice, poured concrete steps but if you have mobility issues, that is something you may want to consider before booking.

Jill has gone out of her way to make this rental feel like it could be your home. The interior is so inviting, with its lovely decor and beautiful yet comfortable furnishings. She provided everything you could possibly need and made it all easy to locate in the home. The location was fantastic- close to so many activities, yet lovely and peaceful when we didn’t want to go out (the paddle boat was a big hit!). We’re been traveling with my husband’s brother and his wife for many years, and we all agreed that this was, by far, our favorite home! Jill is a terrific host, and this property is absolutely delightful!
