They were amazing hosts. They came by to greet us and also recommended great places nearby. I loved staying here and would book again just to stay in this space all weekend.

A beautiful unique stay close to hiking and Mt Woodson golf course. Warm, inviting and very comfortable bed. Excellent place!!

Outdoor Activities

We had a great time hiking local trails and stopping in the local parks. The hosts were wonderful and the location was perfect!

Great quick get away near hiking trails

The little cabin was perfect for 2. Easy to find and very clean and cozy. Mike and Suzie were fantastic hosts. I would stay again!

Coziest Cottage Imaginable

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was so cozy, clean, private, and well-kept, and the surrounding area was gorgeous! We loved waking up, making breakfast in the kitchen, and having coffee on the porch while we watched the birds. We want to come back as much as we can!!!

Light and airy, great stay.

Mike was super welcoming, offering a quick tutorial on the house (too big to be called a 'tiny' house; more like a 'mother in law suite'). Very comfortable for two. We used it as our launching point exploring Ramona's wine country 🍷 Fabulous stay!

Perfect cottage

This is the best place I have ever stayed.

Shirley and Mike have hands down been the most accommodating, kind, and courteous hosts. Our stay was fabulous. The cabin is phenomenal, romantic, clean, and just all around amazing. Don’t pass up this opportunity! Thank you so much Shirley and Mike :)

Quaintly Perfect

Mike and his wife have created the perfect space to unplug from the busyness of life to connect back to yourself. The location nestled within the mountain, the peace, the cabins feel…everything was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend getaway. We will definitely be back. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space of home for those who find it!

A Quaint Little Cabin!

My husband and I stayed here for a brief 2-night trip, as we planned on visiting the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. We had never stayed in a cabin/rental home before, so we didn’t know what to expect. Our hosts provided a wonderful, clean, and adorably decorated space for us with TONS of vintage charm (especially the kitchen). The hosts were very generous, keeping the space stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, and even an assortment of snacks and drinks. There was plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our luggage in both the main living area and bathroom/vanity area. The mattress was a bit firm for our liking, but we still slept just fine. All in all, we had a fantastic experience, and we’d happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Fantastic Mountain Cabin

The hosts Mike and Shirley are very thoughtful and I absolutely loved it. So did my wife. Everything was beautiful and amazing. Very comfortable bed and again they have thought of almost everything! We loved the place didn't even want to leave but life calls and we has to go home. From before we arrived Mike and Shirley were very communicative and welcoming. To our surprise the house was fully stocked with groceries and supplies. Everything was exceptionally clean organized and beautiful. We decided to wake up early to go for a walk and found a nearby hiking trail that we were unaware of was uphill and two miles long! But I loved it. I hope I get another chance to stay at this place. It is very relaxing and welcoming and comfortable. Anybody who stays here will not regret it!

It was a great pleasure hosting James and his wife. What a great couple! They were excellent guests; pleasant to communicate with, very quiet, respectful, kind, and thoughtful. While I’m not the most seasoned VRBO user this was definitely one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. It’s a very cute and quiet property. It felt very thoughtfully put together. Loved seeing the rabbits and the little chipmunks throughout our stay. We were close enough to San Diego to do everything we wanted there and the hikes we wanted to do in Poway and Romona. Highly recommend!
