Soak up the San Diego sunshine on the enclosed patio outside this private boutique room in a classic Italian-built home. All of the doors, windows and bath vanities are imported from Italy. Quiet, safe, and convenient, this room features a private en suite bathroom and all the amenities expected from an upscale hotel. Extra-soft towels and bath robes, at least 800-count Egyptian cotton sheets, plenty of down-alternative pillows, and you will love how comfortable the Queen-size bed is! The room has a Keurig coffee maker and pods, and a mini-fridge. It's about 20 minutes to the beach, Del Mar, and La Jolla. Downtown is easily accessible along with the zoo, wild animal park, and Sea World.

Cut little place to stay

The villa was the perfect place for us to stay for a short trip to San Diego. The hosts were lovely and brought us some chocolate covered strawberries and Prosecco for Valentine’s Day. Quiet neighborhood, just what we needed. Thanks!

Great neighborhood, wish there was separate AC for the unit

Cute location and everything was well put together. I like sleeping cold so I just wish there was a separate AC unit for the rental instead of central ac that we can not access.

Great studio apartment

We had a short but very comfortable stay in this very nice studio apartment in a quiet upscale neighborhood. We had everything we needed . The furnishings were in excellent taste and the courtyard was secluded and peaceful. Excellent stay!

A wonderful haven!

A wonderful stay in every way. The location was ideal, near so many great attractions and close to Del Mar and the ocean, in a welcoming neighborhood next to everything needed. Our hosts were very warm and thought of every detail we required. They asked if we needed anything and we couldn’t think of one item that wasn’t already provided. The room was clean and inviting. Had a wonderful time!

Best Hosts Ever!

My parents needed a place to stay where there wasn’t stairs so I booked this room for a visit. The host came out to say hello, noticed they were older and offered to switch rooms so they could have a walk in shower instead of a bathtub with shower. He was so gracious the entire time!

Long holiday weekend stay

Very nice place. Super clean, private area to sit outside. Great for us as there were two couples with adjacent rooms. The hosts were very friendly as well. Very nice area, safe and quiet.

Hilary was nice to us

Our trip was scheduled more than a month ago. My son and I go to Del Mar every year and watch horse racing. We arrived on 8-19-23 as scheduled. It was a nice day with no rain. The forecast for Sunday, however, called for severe storms so racing was canceled. Ok, enough of the disappointment regarding horse racing! The Villa was perfect for the two of us. The eatery’s were close and the accommodations provided by John and Laura were excellent! Everything we needed was there and in good shape. A quick shoutout to Laura who was gracious enough to greet my son and I as soon as we arrived. Although not necessary, she apologized for not having the outside furniture available as if Hilary was her fault! My only regret is that as we departed I did not have the opportunity to thank her and John in person for allowing us to stay at such a wonderful place.

Cute Room in Great Neighborhood

A cute bedroom connected to the side of the house with our own entrance - This was a great find in a beautiful safe neighborhood. My bf and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do - visit family, trail running (lots of great places to walk and run, including within the area itself).There were lots of families taking walks during the day, and everyone was very friendly. The beach wasn't far, and many great restaurants were close to us. The owners were great, always available if needed, and we absolutely loved meeting their fur babies.

Cute Villa

Upon arrival everything was nice and clean and the windows were open to let in an amazing cool breeze. The home had unique locks that made great accents to the cabinets and doors. The whole time was very quiet you could hear a little noise from people inside but overall it was nothing a little tv could fix. We came for a wedding and had everything we could need including a mini fridge and coffee set up (lifesaver). Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay and just relax away from the crazy downtown this is a great choice. Just 20 min from North Park and La Jolla it was as great center place with lots of pretty homes surrounding it and safe! Thanks again for an amazing stay.

You enter through a private entrance and you have your own en-suite private bathroom. The room amenities are luxurious and comfortable. If you need to get some work done there is a desk and chair, wireless internet and iron with ironing board. There is a semi-private outdoor patio for enjoying the sun. The property itself is gorgeous and is situated in a suburban setting away from noise and traffic. We are about 2 miles from the nearest store so you will want to drive or ride-share here.
