Unwind at this coastal apartment with view of Posession Sound. This second floor apartment was renovated in 2022 for a peaceful, spacious and uniquely PNW feel. Enjoy sunsets from the patio or walk 5 minutes to Lighthouse Park.

There is a king size bed and a twin bed in the bedroom and an air mattress. Bathroom has a walk in shower. Full kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare meals. Washer and dryer in apartment,

The house is located in Old Town Mukilteo steps from Red Cup Cafe, Sully's Pizza, Rosehill Community Center and more. Minutes from Boeing and I-5.
The Blue Heron Guest Suite is perfect if you're in town for business or pleasure.

Great location in old town area of Mukilteo. Many cute shops steps away! Wonderful views and very comfortable accommodations. Definitely recommend staying at The Blue Heron!

Amazing location with great views! Home is well kept and very clean. The host even left out a bottle of wine which was great after a long drive. Will definitely be back!

Amazing little space. Everything was extremely clean and well thought out. We loved looking over the water and watching the ferry go back and forth. The shops and restaurants all around the space were all very nice and convenient. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully appointed suite with a great view of the sound. Enjoyed the pizza restaurant and the chocolate shop in the courtyard and the friendly shop owners.

Charming, contemporary apartment with stunning views.

Beautiful and thoughtfully appointed apartment with a coastal vibe and panoramic views of the Puget Sound. Impeccably clean and very comfortable. Situated close to a variety of locally owned stores and restaurants. We would recommend this ‘home away from home’ without reservation!

Nice property. Well thought out and equipped. It is well located for us to visit our friends and very close to a range of good dining. Initially we were concerned about parking but it was no problem. We would definitely return. Thank you yo the hosts!

AMAZING!!

This house is pure perfection! Wonderful location, perfectly appointed with everything you need. So many little details were thought of. The view....Beautiful! Close to great food/shops. There is nothing to say but yes, you should book this gem.

Seriously Perfect.

The Blue Heron is beautifully conceived and maintained. Understated style, clean lines and super clean housekeeping top to bottom, lots of daylight and serene view of Puget Sound sunsets, located on hillside above beach, ferry, and shops/restaurants, it is perfect. Seriously perfect. Romantic. Peaceful. Perfect. Could not be better.

Do not scroll past this one!

We stayed in this apartment for over two weeks. The views from the living room and balcony are breathtaking. You have a charming nature gift store underneath the apartment, an amazing cafe to the left and a chocolate store to the right. In front of that, a pizza place. My husband is an introvert and never really noticed that there were people below us and I was worried that would bug him. It was just so quiet and peaceful. A quick walk down and you are at the water and the cute beach and lighthouse. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed and we loved having the whole place to ourselves. This apartment has been remodeled and it is pristine! I will not forget the views or the soft breeze from the sound while we slept. Perfection. We are truly sad that we live so far away or we would be booking this for all of our getaways.

Hosts thought of everything that anyone would need for the comforts of home. Pizza place across the courtyard is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend stopping in. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to try the other places due to leaving early before opening and coming back after closing. We were in a perfect location to be able to do all the Seattle things on the city pass and then some and also close enough to the outlets and the harbors north to go on a whale watching tour in Anacortes. We had an unforgettable trip with our little family. If we ever come back to Washington, we would definitely stay again. Five stars for Blue Heron guesthouse.

Clean. Several places to eat within walking distance. Got text from owner saying could check in early as it was finished being cleaned which was really nice. Parking may be challenging during day but got a spot and didn't have to drive anywhere till left. Has nice patio also and view.

We are Jason and Kris Hammer and we live in Mukilteo with our three kids, two dogs and two parakeets.

When we moved here in 2011 we sat at the Red Cup Cafe next door and talked about how much we loved this area and this building in particular. In 2017, Kris opened the Nature Together Shop (below the Blue Heron) and in 2021 we had the opportunity to buy the building.
