A perfect place for gathering of long time friends. We spent many hours reminiscing on the porch in the rockers. Many meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen.Good food and good rest.Great location for local activities.

The house was very clean. The kitchen is a great size. Plenty of utensils and plates glassware… However, new pans would be useful. They’re a bit tired. We cannot say enough about the house with the two decks which were terrific with plenty of chairs. The view was a 5-outstanding! The house is at around 3400 elevation and very peaceful and quiet, which is exactly what we wanted. The house furnishings are plentiful and you can tell the owners have lovingly cared for the Home.

Great for families

Great house for our family with plenty of rooms and a hot tub and pool table for us to use when we weren’t hiking or in town seeing the sights. Beautiful views, secluded location.

This is a beautiful home, comfortable and well appointed. Bedrooms are spacious and cozy. Cabin feel throughout. Relaxation and panoramic views abound. Game room is a definite bonus. A great rental!

Our Mountain Getaway

My wife and I took a week getaway together to this beautiful home. The house was clean with breath taking views. Would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking to find a small piece of heaven within the mountains.

Great family retreat with wonderful views

Delightful property. Up the mountain yet still close to town. Loved drinking coffee and watching the fog in the valley come and go. Keep an eye open for a mama bear and three cubs!

The property is beautiful and has great views. My only critique is that the downstairs bedroom needs some TLC especially a new mattress. Our family enjoyed our stay overall. We made memories that will last forever.

Beautiful, relaxing location

This property is located in a beautiful location. We rented during the summer, and I can imagine the beauty during the other seasons. Driving up to the house could be difficult during the winter in certain instances. The house provided plenty of space for our 7 guests and is capable of accommodating more. I highly recommend booking this home for your vacation needs!

Mountain Cabin

This home was at the top of a mountain. It had stunning views of the valley below as well as of other mountains. The house itself was large. It could sleep 3 couples and two others. It was in great condition. The drive up the mountain was intimidating to some in the group. But the view made is. worthwhile. I highly recommend the house.

Great house, awesome view

Rented the house for a group of friends on a motorcycle trip. House was as described. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our group. The view from the 2 decks is simple amazing. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. For any motorcyclists thinking of renting for your group this would be a great place, but be aware that the road up to the house is windy and steep. The driveway itself is mostly flat and use of the garage is a great benefit.

Great Family hiking weekend with adult children & family dog

Gorgeous mountain home with full amenities and view! Spacious enough for my husband and I and 2 adult children and their spouses, plus family dog. Close to Pisgah National Forest where we hiked a total of 24 miles over Memorial Day weekend - enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was large enough for us to make meals together. Precious memories were made sitting on the porch looking a mountains talking, playing guitars & piano ( available at house), and family meals around the large table. I would recommend to groups of 6 or more people.

Nice Mountain House with beautiful views

Overall, this is a well-appointed property with beautiful views. The house is easy to access and in a nice neighborhood. Communication with the property management was pretty easy, they texted with us back and forth. There were a few minor issues like light bulb under the microwave being out, the fireplace in basement not working, etc. but overall the house is in good shape. They could stand to mount a TV over the fireplace and upgrade the king size bed in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the dishes we need for cooking. Hot tub worked great. Would recommend this property!

Family gathering

The property was perfect for a large group. The kitchen could have used more drinking glasses, there was only a mishmash of small glasses for water. The kitchen was easy to prepare meals in. The livingroom was a nice gathering place for conversation and building a warm fire. The views are amazing! The game area and hot tub are added bonuses! Beware of the steep road getting up to the property. If the road is icy, I would be afraid to drive down from the house. I would rent this property again without question!

Beautiful mountain getaway

The property is located at the top of the mountain and has beautiful views. The house was spacious with lots of common area and plenty of amenities to enjoy ( pool table, jacuzzi, game tables, etc)We had a couple issues and the response time was so delayed as to be unhelpful. Apparently power outages are common and we didn’t know how to reconnect the internet. A response hours later in the middle of the night was so late it was not helpful.The kitchen was spacious but lacked some quality tools like spatulas. Overall we had a wonderful stay and it waswas nice.
