Guest House 10 Min to Smugglers!

Our Guest House is a cozy 400 sq. ft. cabin close to it all. Comfortably furnished, it features a queen bed in a private bedroom and a full bath. The kitchenette includes a two-burner stovetop, small refrigerator with freezer, sink, microwave, and other small appliances. For coffee, we provide a French press, coffee grinder, and Vermont Organic Coffee Company whole-bean coffee.

Outside, you’ll find a grill next to a small patio.

We’re right on the Lamoille Rail Trail, 2 miles from the Long Trail, 4 miles from Johnson, and 8 miles from Smugglers’ Notch. It’s a great home base for skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, canoeing, and exploring northern Vermont.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Clean, comfortable, just right for us two. Host was very friendly, greeted us as we first arrived. Easy check in, easy check out. Beautiful area, we were about three weeks early for fall peak color, but still awesome. Host recommended Poorhouse Pies Cambridge Cafe for breakfast/coffee, we loved the place, and started 2 out of our 3 mornings there. Close to the north side of Smuggler's Notch. (20 min drive)..Highly recommend!

This is our second stay here and it was just as memorable as the first. Great location, close to Stowe and beautiful little surrounding towns. Loved the rail trail and beautiful scenery!

This house was great in so many ways. Pictures are an accurate representation. The location is convenient with easy access to lots of activities. While having Vermont charm, it is not out in the woods - felt very safe there, traveling solo. Host was responsive and helpful but not intrusive.

Great Stay

Perfect space fo my wife and I while visiting the area. Close to both Waterbury and Stowe. Lots of neat little towns close by. Perfect amount of space for the tow of us.

Our host Peter was very friendly and I got to meet his friendly dog, Lenny. The little red cabin was very cozy. The accomodations provided everything we needed. If we are ever up near Stowe again, we would certainly stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised and excited about staying at this property. The house is beautifully painted and was very clean upon arrival! It has the perfect setting and we loved looking out the windows in the morning to see farm life going on around us. We had quiet nights sleeping and the unit had everything we needed to cook in and be comfortable in our daily prep so we could continue on with our area planned activities. Our host was very responsive in communications and showed kindness and appreciation with the little things throughout the house. There were books to read and games to play. We invited company over on our 2nd night and everyone had a great & relaxing time. We loved the french press option for coffee - and thought it a wonderful new experience. It was fun going back home to relax after our long days out. We would definitely return to this location in our future stays in Jeffersonville, VT. Thanks very much for listing this property!

Magical Tiny Vermont Getaway

This cabin was absolutely fabulous. It was perfect for a few days away just myself and my pup. It is on a main road with fast moving traffic in case you bring children or pets just be aware but it didn’t take away from the beauty of the property for me. Thank you to the hosts!

Solo Ski Dude Jacked, Jack!

Let me tell ya somethin, Jacks. This stay was incredulously awesome dudes! The Hulksters that provided the lodging were flexin' those 24 inch Pythons while living and breathing those three demandments of Vrbo: the cleanliness, the communication, and the ease of checkout Brother! When I was down and out from the Macho Man's big elbow, these Maniacs answered the call and suggested the Burger Barn so I could Hulk Up and get ready to hit those slopes the next day! And oh yeah, dudes: the guest house was cleaned up, warmed up, and ready for me to comfortably slide on into just like my NWO title belt. Next time I ride my landshark all the way up the Atlantic coast and ski the diamonds of Killington, Stowe, and Jay Peak, I'll make sure my tag team partners are Peter and Chaundra because when you're NWO, you're NWO 4 life!! So whatcha gonna do, when Peter, Chaundra, and their hospitality run wild on you, Brother????

The home was a very nice discovery, we hiked in Smugglers Notch and we biked on the Lamoille rail bike trail. We hope to come back in the fall. Very peaceful place in beautiful rural Vermont.
